Every time the guy does what he does the opponent either becomes sub par, he hand picked his opponents or the bar is raised. I swear he could beat the mythical Gegenees and he'd be accused of hand picking and expected to fight the Medusa blind folded.

Mayweather is smoke and mirrors in terms of opposition and it isn't a crime to say as much He is seemingly an impeccable boxer, so it is just a shame that he is so obsessed with the money and the 0, to ever put it completely on the line.

People then say, well what do you suggest? My answer to that is simple. I want to see him against someone with heart, with skills, with speed. Currently it is plodder after plodder and carefully, carefully chosen. Bradley, Pacquiao, or Golovkin at 154, are obvious fights to make.
Not a crime but it is pathetic.
It's true. Canelo was built on a diet of easy opposition and it isn't a crime to say as much. Then he was drawn to 152 and easily outpointed as he cannot fight a minute of any round.

Now put Floyd in with the opponents I have suggested and see if the same would happen. Floyd won't fight them. Floyd won't be dictated to by anyone. He will pick his opponent and he will manipulate the sales.

It has been this way for years. To fight Floyd you need to pressure, have speed, and have output and none of these opponents have had that.

Who else is there for him to fight? There is a very sad shortage of quality boxers these days.

Life should be fair. Is there any reason why it should not be fair? Again, a horrid religious person justifying unfair treatment to anyone who disagrees with him. Like that hasn't been the century after century excuse for killing everyone who was different.

Apparently that kind of thinking is self righteous and will send me to hell. However, I couldn't care less about that, I care about what is right and I don't think this fight was meaningful. I have suggested opponents. Floyd should fight them. Bradley at 147, Pac at 147 or Golovkin at 154.

They are good fights that few would disagree with. No catchweights, just those fights at those weights.

I agree with you, but the sum of all experimental evidences over 5776 years suggests that by now life is far from being far
Please, pay attention on that fact that I say "suggests" not "proves"
Somehow Floyd deals with it, apparently you do not

Floyd deals with it because he is a manipulator and is happy ripping off people and telling lies. Much like your good book of faith. They deal with it as all God thankers do.

The concept of "fair" is a figment of the imagination...

Miles, you realize you're about the only type of person "bound to criticize" the guys he has been fighting. Bradley at 147, you actually think thats a bigger challenge than Canelo was? I'm sure you wouldn't have personally made any mention of the fact Bradley was clobbered all over the ring by an average fighter last time out, if Floyd had signed to fight him instead, right? Or the fact that we last saw Pacquiao getting peeled off the canvas, what does that matter right.
You don't like Mayweather and that's fine, neither do I. But is it really so difficult to be objective about anything?

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

My main point was that guys like you are criticizing Floyd for being Floyd. Why should he be like you want him to be?

Pro boxing is business. Now are no longer old days when pay cheks were not that high. At that time, pro boxing was like some advanced in skills, but regular, job. This is why I believe the overall quality was better. Now this business is done with different principles, Floyd shares his responsibility for that, no doubt, but he is definitely not the only one to be blamed.

To sum up, you want a change - go for the root of the problem, not attack the branches. Does this make sense?

i would think he'd agree to fight the Medusa blindfolded.

Floyd is an astute matchmaker, and picker of opponents whilst taking away their advantages (like getting the Alvarez fight made at catch weight) ..... But he is also a classically trained scholar, steeped in ancient history and Grecian mythology

As such, he would know that gazing in the face of the Medusa would turn him to stone, so the blindfold would be to his advantage

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

But think of the unfair stipulations Floyd demands of every single opponent thus far, clearly his heart is already made of stone. Perhaps he would pull the wool over our eyes once again and fight Medusa without revealing his immunity to her gaze.

It would be a gentlemans gesture in an attempt to find common bonds with the Judges. If they can score blindfolded, why on Earth should he not be allowed to fight that way
