The referee did a terrible job during this fight. The rules and the referee are there to protect the fighters. Every fighter, every fight, all the time no matter what.
Whether or not you think the fouled fighter is a piss poor champ or will be a piss poor champ has nothing to do with enforcing the rules.
I feel for the referee because he screwed up big time, in front of a big audience, but that's the way it goes.
Instead in looking at the facts, we jump on Tyson because he got away with a foul or fouls years ago and is now pushing for everyone concerned to do the right thing.

The rules are there to protect the money of the fans who bet on the fights plus the fighters--maybe a different way of looking at it will change some of your minds.
