just to be clear, being a bum is an expression by meaning that they are nowhere near the top of the weight class. obviously vera isnt a terrible fighter, but he isnt good. he is alright. and i dont think that chavez is good either. he is probably between alright and good when he trains. when he doesnt train, he is alright.

Tell ya what I'd love to be ringside if you had the cojones to get in there with Bryan Vera and repeat that statement.

Anyways Chavez did NOT beat Bryan Vera he got his ass kicked Chavez got a diabolical decision. Chavez will need to be 100% mentally & physically to genuinely beat Bryan. So far in his career he's just leeched of his fathers name which got him wins he didnt deserve
