It would be like no decline ever seen before in a fighter over one outing. Maidana is not some knockout puncher, especially at 147. Floyd has fought half a dozen guys with more power and imo about 20 guys with more ability to hurt him, which is what matters. This is a cakewalk for Floyd, it's just a matter of whether he'll get the stoppage as Master said. I think it could even be a matter of whether he decides to.

Haven't we sped past the Broner-Mayweather comparison and the relevance of how each did-will do against an opponent Floyd let him keep the T shirt, thats enough already.

Broner weighed his strategy and approach on excepting power by light hitters...then it blew up in his face when he had zero adjustment and answer. Mayweather knows getting hit is flat stupid and has exelled at an actual game plan to avoid it.

Its like comparing Gumby to Godzilla because both are green.

Whether your earnie shavers or lucas matthysse...skills win fights.

A big punch will help but the only time i remember floyd getting hit cleanly was the hatton fight around the 8th round after floyd was on the brink off stopping him and the 2nd round with roid boy.

When floyd gets hit we all remember as it hardly ever happens..true?

    Happen. Not. Gonna

Maidana has two chances. Slim and None.....and slim just left town.

I predict another Gatti - Mayweather type beating.

I don't see it. Gatti couldn't punch while being punched... and Canelo can punch while being punched, but was slow to react and is slow in reacting. Maidana can punch BLINDLY, at times. He can throw a punch, hard and fast, while being hit flush-on with ferocious shots. Not very many guys can do that- aside from Maidana and Garcia. JMM can too, but he doesn't punch hard enough at times...
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!
