Briggs scored one of the greatrest come-from-behind KO over Liakhovich to become the last, great American HW champion.
Yeah that was good of Briggs. He is still a great fighter and champion boxer but as you said, come from behind victory. It's just as likely Liakovich could have won a rematch with Briggs.
A shock KO like that is not as convincing to me of greatness than out-boxing an opponent thoroughly and scoring the KO win.
Prime Briggs would have been a good opponent for Wladimir but I don't think he brings anything much more to the table that LEapai does.
