Yes he also got a gift against club fighter Dan Schommer , beaten by Steve Collins , Eubank had heart and a steel chin but was over rated a WBO plastic belt holder. Nobody outside of the UK gave a crap about him.
Tim Bradley got a gift against Jaime Rangel.

Pacquaio lost to some midgets who I can't even name.

Adonis Stevenson lost to journeyman Darnell Boone.

George Foreman got a gift against Axel Schultz.

Doesn't mean they all aren't great or very good fighters.
Yes he was a good fighter , but not many outside of the UK even considered him champion at either MW or SMW. WBO let him fight journeymen on his world tour.

To be honest Eubank sr , got us all talking the guy plays people rubs you up the wrong way,
Chris was standing in the ring with his man bag under his arm, it was pure theater his son
is a good fighter and would beat Billy Joe easily.
Chris jr is a good prospect and is coming along nicely, the pantomime bad boy is back it's
    all fun chaps.

I can agree with that as Roy Jones or James Toney woulda have beaten the hell out of him and he has admitted as much.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

One would expect Eubank Sr to say flattering things about his son, but he's not doing Junior any favours by according him such status, when he hasn't won anything yet.

I mean, Roy Jones Jr, James Toney & Roberto Duran?

Senior needs to rein it in, otherwise Junior's ego might get so large that Vladimir Putin might annex it & make it part of Russia!

Really ? Confidence and self belief are important but stepping over into arrogance and self delusion are surely dangerous and in the end self defeating.
LOLOL... yea, young Eubanks isn't quite there yet. lolololol.... but he can be. I see tremendous handspeed and coordination in addition to very good combinations and pressure- the power is yet to be determined. I do also give him an un-qualified assessment on his endurance- I think he can go 12 hard rounds.
