    Arguably the left hooks that changed Camacho in approach and career, they cut the last two rounds off of scrap there? Damn shame how Thomas went out so young

    Not seen Camacho v Rosario but heard Macho Man was very defensive in his career after getting hurt in that fight.

    1934: Max Baer KO 11 Primo Carnera, Long Island. Wins World Heavyweight Title. Depending on the source Carnera went down somewhere between 10 and 15 times.
    -James J. Braddock KO 3 Corn Griffin.

    1966: Walter McGowan W 15 Salvatore Burruni. Wins World Flyweight Title.

    1977: Carlos Palomino KO 11 Davey Green. Retains World Welterweight Title.

    1986: Myung Woo Yuh KO 12 Tomohiro Kiyuna. Retains WBA Junior Flyweight Title.

    1991: Edwin Rosario KO 3 Loreto Garza. Wins WBA Super Lightweight Title.
    -Daniel Zaragoza W 12 Kiyoshi Hatanaka. Wins WBC Super Bantamweight Title.

    1997: Oscar DeLaHoya KO 2 David Kamau. Retains WBC Welterweight Title.

    June 15th

    Fight of the day

    1991-Robert Quiroga vs Akeem Anifowoshi

    A FOTY candidate but sadly Akeem 22 started vomiting blood shortly after the verdict and was rushed to hospital where had the pressure relieved from his brain. He would never fight again and died in his shower at home in Nigeria three years later.
    -Quiroga would never be the same either and lost his finishing instinct. He to had a sad end being stabbed to death outside a bar in 2004.




    1914: Jack Dillon W 12 Bob Moha, Butte, MT. Retains World Light Heavyweight Title.

    1957: Raul Macias KO 11 Dommy Ursua. Retains NBA Bantamweight Title.

    1960: Carlos Ortiz W 15 Duilio Loi. Retains World Super Lightweight Title.
    -Loi arguably won this fight and he won the next two against Ortiz. He only lost 3 fights in 126 contests. One at the start of his career and one prior to retirement along with the disputed first fight with Ortiz.

    1963: Eddie Perkins W 15 Roberto Cruz,. Wins World Super Lightweight Title.

    1967: Yoshiaki Numata W 15 Flash Elorde. Wins World Super Featherweight Title.

    1977: Miguel Canto W 15 Kimio Furesawa. Retains WBC Flyweight Title.

    1983: Jaime Garza KO 2 Bobby Berna,. Wins vacant WBC Super Bantamweight Title.

    1984: Thomas Hearns KO 2 Roberto Duran. Retains World Super Welterweight Title. One day shy of his 33rd birthday Hearns came close to removing his head and offering it to him as a present.

    1985: Pinklon Thomas KO 8 Mike Weaver. Retains WBC Heavyweight Title.

    1991: Yung Kyun Park KO 6 Masuaki Takedal. Retains WBA Featherweight Title.
    -Welcome Ncita W 12 Hurley Snead. Retains IBF Super Bantamweight Title.
    -Robert Quiroga W 12 Akeem Anifowoshe, San Antonio. Retains IBF Super Flyweight Title.

    1992: Hiroki Ioka W 12 Bong Jun Kim. Retains WBA Junior Flyweight Title.

    1996: Roy Jones Jr. KO 11 Eric Lucas,. Retains IBF Super Middleweight Title. Jones played a game of semi-pro basketball the afternoon of the fight.

    Yes that was what I was thinking. Matthew Saad Muhammad v Kov would be a good fight and style wise against Badou Jack.

    i still remeber a year ago i've started my boxing classes near my home, my first ever boxing gloves is Elitesports and on the first day at my class I've got broke my nose i can't forget that day, i was bleeding very badly
