Default Johnathon Banks: Has he given up fighting for good?

It seems so. Seems as if he will never lace them up again and has chosen to stay in the training role.

Good for him, but was it too early for him to do so?

I feel he could have come back at Cruiser or LH and give Kovalev/Stevenson and the rest a run for their money FOR the money.

But, Steward must have seen something in him to make him want to pick him, at such a young age, to be a trainer over a legit fighter.

He should hang em up and stick to training.

Better for his health to stick to training really...probably better for his wallet as well.

Was Banks so bad in his last fight that he had to retire?

He should continue to make some pocket money since he is in the gym training fighters.

Banks did a good job exposing Seth Mitchell.

Then he did a good job taking a UD loss dive to Mitchell in the rematch for presumably a nice payday.

Why would he deliberately lose when he beat him the first time. Banks lost to the better fighter. He can train fighters afterwards, you only can fight for a limited time.

He would get Mitchell hurt the second fight then never attempt to finish him. It was bizarre.

These people forget that boxing is some times crooked... if you got paid more money to throw a fight, then why not do it?

Banks obviously tanked in the second Mitchell fight. It was obvious.
