    Default kwik fit tyres

I had a nail in my car tyre. Went to Kwik fit and they said I had to change both tyres as they were bold and illegal. They said I should have failed the MOT and were surprised that it passed. They were the ones that passed it!

I then had to to track the tyres including the back which was a first for me.

It cost me £280. I feel scammed.

    280 pounds?

I think you were had, but maybe that's normal there. I don't know. I got a nail in my tyre last year and they came over and changed it for about 25 pounds. My car is old though and services are generally cheap here.

Thats just a puncher! usually pull it out depending on how close it is to the edge of the tire! You should ask if you can have a look at the old tires, And if you see they are fucked with your own eyes you should consider changing them! Dealer ship are a dirty business, worked at a chevy dealer in California who had broken down brakes for every chevy model and when it came some old or not knowing bout cars who wants a service they just change their brakes and show them the bad ones they have in stock and say they needed to be replaced immediately!

I would say they robbed you, it takes 15-20 min to change two tires, and balance them!
You can be a cunt back and remove some weights on your tire and go back to the dealer at lunchtime or 10 minutes before the close, and tell them something happened to the car when they changed the tires, Sounds like something is lose and vibrating! Add that you're afraid of driving the vehicle now. But thats wasting your time as well, or just call them and tell em they had a shitty price!
