I think the fight may still happen. I don't know, it just seems like hot air. I could be wrong.![]()
it has always been apparent that arum is the biggest obstacle. he hates floyd and floyd hates him. pac does whatever arum says. arum lies to the media. arum is almost becoming don king scum status. ive never liked him.
anyways, i believe that it is arum that is the problem and that without him, the fight would have been made long ago.
We are all tired of the circus and teasing
Shame on them all
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
I really really want to see this fight happen, probably still more than any other fight in boxing and I still maintain as I did when it was very first even mentioned that Floyd would win. Last week I was actually quite confident it was about to finally come off and then Floyd posted this video of Ariza on his facebook saying something like "Thanks for clearing my name Alex Ariza" and then I realised this fight is probably never going to happen!! All I can say is that it's an absolute shame for Boxing!
I wish these two would just go away but the field is narrowing down to just Floyd. Arum has already said they are looking at Khan now. Cotto is now waiting on Floyd. Floyd is going to Australia for dinner unless he gets turned back with Mundine waiting in the lobby to lobby.
The puppeteer claims are getting a little long in the tooth by Floyd. Saber-tooth tiger long. The world must be the puppet master cause even Obama has called for the fight. And Ariza's account of anything is about as credible as Homers account of the Trojan horse. And his honesty equal to that of Judas Iscariot. I assume everyone has seen his latest video input.
"Hopefully its Mayweather-Pacquiao [on May 2nd]. Of course we are trying to make the fight happen between me and Pacquiao. Are we negotiating? Absolutely we are negotiating. But Pacquiao said that he agreed to everything. What did you agree to? You have no say so. You have a boss. You don't have no say so. You have a boss.....that's called Top Rank Promotions. It's not called Pacquiao Promotions. With my company, it's called Mayweather Promotions,"
Its really tough to stay out of this freak show. I never thought I'd agree to the ducking claims and spent what feels like a lifetime defending this guy concerning this fight but he just does not want it. Nothing makes it more clear then the statement above.
"We have been going back and forth, communicating with their team. Hopefully we can make this fight happen. Once again, we have to look at his pay-per-view numbers. His last fight didn't even do 300,000 homes. Figures make sense. He did get knocked out not too long ago. No matter what you say, Floyd Mayweather still winning. When they take shots at Floyd Mayweather, he still winning and making hundreds of millions.
I wonder if historians are noting quotes. How many ways can a man back out of the same fight. Really ppv's are now a reason when he just fought Maidana twice? Is Manny going to hurt the draw or something lol
It really is pathetic. He should just say “I don’t want to fight him”"We're going to make it happen though. We're trying, but it's been extremely difficult dealing with Top Rank. And I don't want to sit here and point the finger at Pacquiao and say 'it's him.' It's not Pacquiao, it's his promoter. A lot of times when Pacquiao says 'I agreed' - you don't have nothing to do with this, you're not a boss. On a chess board you're a pawn."
What is a word for brainwashed on steroids. That’s what a person would have to be to buy this shit any longer.
I wont even respond to a response. Its that used up and I'm spent on this pseudo super fight. @Andre @Master ban me for a period if I ever reply to another thread involving these two unless the fight is signed. Including this one.
Dont know what you are talking about.
Oh is the play the fans back on?
They'll do a broadway show on this one day: A play about how the public were taken for a long pay as you go ride.
I wont even buy it in if it ever happens, i'll watch a replay, I havent paid for a Floyd fight in years.
