I pick Povetkin. Wilder doesn't do too well against pressure, and unlike Stiverne, Povetkin can cut off the ring.

Wilder's only gone the distance once. Povetkin can get a late stoppage if he works his body early.

First rounds are either feeling out rounds, or a complete Pandora's box, when fighters get caught cold before establishing a pattern or even getting warmed up to the flow of the fight. I think Wilder can be forgiven for looking awkward when pressured in that first round. Especially when he himself dropped Firtha twice en route to a 4th round TKO win.

Stiverne connected more than a few times on Wilder. Give Wilder credit. He used his height and movement to minimize the force of some of those punches.

I did give him fair credit after the fight but Stiverne barely landed a glove on him. He never got caught clean once. He fought a smart fight. The idea after all is to hit and not get hit. That's what he did ergo I want to see if his chin holds out to even a mediocre good shot and see what kind of recovery he has.
