Calm down guys I think he was only trying to be humourous. I mean if I had posted this thread up and he would have said it about me I could laugh at myself.

First of all i'd like to say thanks to the guys who have stuck up for me in my absence CC's for all of ya

Purns, i know it was a long post but if you are going to reply with a highly intelligent response as you did at least have the common courtesy to read the bloody thing you fool.

first of all i had never heard of JC until he had beaten Eubank and i found this out from the Brit pack video that i bought so it wasnt actually possible to get on the JC bandwagon any sooner if it was maybe i would have climbed aboard. Also i never claimed to be JC no1 fan either i merely checked his results and read his fight reports from time to time.

Whose bandwagon did i jump on after i got off Calzaghe's you lost me there for a minute.

I have disrespected JC many times because of his apparent unwillingness to step up and prove he is true number one but Joe you have my respect now and i will not be so quick to dismiss you again. I just hope he doesnt waste the remainder of his career by either pricing himself out of big fights or taking easy options. This is the time to build. I am by no means a JC arse kisser but respect where it is due.

Joe Calzaghe belongs amongst the worlds elite fighters of today he has not cemented his legacy just yet but if he can build upon the Lacy fight which im sure he can and will, then he will book his seat amongst the greats.

How many people do you think lost interest in Calzaghes career in the last 2-3 years? Die hard fans will not have but the rest of us will have become frustrated and annoyed by him. Who can blame us.

Calzaghe is not all of a sudden one of my favourite fighters because he suddenly defeated Lacy i was just pointing out that he has my respect for coming through the fight of his life as he did. I should have not been so quick to dismiss him.

No doubt you will not even read this reply to your post and if you do you will not be capable of actually having a discussion like the rest of the guys on this forum.
