Default Tyson Fury v Erkan Teper purse bid set for April 13th - Could Joshua get it?

Fury's surely not gonna go with this and will ditch the EBU title leaving another "Highest Available Challenger" to step in and fight - Joshua is in the top 5 so it could be him who gets the call

Interesting. Obviously Fury is chasing after the World title and he said in the build up to the Chisora fight, he couldn't give 2 fucks about the belt. However, if Warren can't deliver the World title fight, he's gotta take this.
Teper's record is good and it appears he can bang, he's also got the IBF intercontinental belt (for what it's worth ), but it could give Fury even more leverage.
so it could be a very lively banana skin IMO.

I know Fury wants another fight as he realises he could be waiting a while.

Teper is ideal. He's a puncher and will keep Tyson alert and give the threat to keep him real sharp but he is a bit of a plodder.

Fury needs to stay busy and learn the trade. The more Fury fights the better he will be.

I don't think he needs to learn the trade so much. You can see from his fights he's streets ahead of the other contenders with some of the moves he uses. What he needs is to stay sharp. He doesn't want any more than 6 months off before facing Wlad, IF he faces Wlad as there is still the chance that Briggs is given a fight!

Now considering that could happen then its in his best interest to stay active in the meantime. He is at least, the kind of fighter who believes he should be beating everyone if he thinks he's as good as he does. As in whats he wanting to fight Wlad for if he cant beat the others.

I saw Tepers last fight and he didn't look great. He's strong and powerful but not a mover.

I've never seen Teper fight that I can remember. If the fight happens, I hope Fury gets a KO or completely dominates, otherwise we'll never see Fury vs Wilder.

    Erkan Teper 6'5, 32 year old, 14(9 KO)-0-0

Meh...decent hand speed, kind of soft looking though so I'd worry about his stamina
