when do u start having press conferences

I like the game but I think they should make career mode more of an rpg and a chance to go to the Olympics, I would also like entrances where the fighter is in the ring and then the ring announcers announce the fighters. and why only one commentater? I dig fighting on ESPN Friday Night fights etc(but where's Teddy) When you get big enough you should be able to fight on HBO or Showtime with those announcers and fight breakdowns, with real press conferences that decide what you're going to say like an RPG. THey could also put press conferences online where with the headset you can actually talk trash and type in or select different options with your online opponent. And they should have a speedbag minigame a jumprope mini game and focus pads minigame.

Why cant they just make the ameature the olympics. That would make more sense. I would also like see the alphabet titles in the game. Make that a part of decision making your mandatory challenges.

It love the game, thats because im a boxing fan but little by little Kudo is F'ing it up.

Okay first of all BRING BACK THE RANKINGS! I don't like this popularity meter crap! It makes it so unrealistic. Second of all the fighters on the press conferences have gloves on.... WTF! It would be great if they gave you options like u guys would be sitting down on the press conference and when its your turn to talk, you could have options of saying " this is going to be a great fight" or "ima knock this bumb out" that could stir up rivalry, as stated above olympics would be great, and i hate how they force you to move up in weight! and what happend with the custom entrances? Also i knock out my RIVAL 3 times in the 1st round, and about to fight him for the 4rth time! I could go on and on, I love this game but i would love it to be more realistic, if only 2k sports would give EA some competition!

I have had like 30 fights.. but before a title fight against a rival we duked it out at the weigh in.. supprised the hell out of me. it went to 1st person perspective, like if you hit em w/ a super haymaker. and we brawled it out for like 10 punches then it went straight to the ring.

What supprises me is my guy actually threw the first punch. i was all like "HOLY SHIT! HELL YEAH".

I dont know about you guys, but i love the game. hopefully more cool stuff pops up here and there. buy i don't think anything beats "the king" trainer. that has to be the funniest thing ive seen in a video game.....

iv had a press conference after about 30 fights. they really are S***. you cant 'talk trash' in any way whatsoever. and then u get into a little scuffle with the other boxer and all you can do is block his punches. wtf? and as soon as its over it goes straight into the ring and starts the fight.

the career mode is pathetic really.

FNR3 is more of an arcade game.

i expect a table with a proper press confernce and say u might have options of wt to say to the other fighter im currently 41-1-0 (40) at light heavy with de la hoya how cum when u win the title u dont defend it till bout 5 fights after

Im also about 44-2-0 ( 43 kos ) and moved up to light heavy.

Its dumb, there have been no confrences, the whole rival system is dumb, the weigh ins are just pathetic, as are the ring entrances.

Everything about this game yells out "Half Arsed" its fucking crap tbh, the gameplay is OK at best, but they were going on like the career mode was 10X better, when its got worse at best.

That is pretty much how I feel as well. I paid 40 bucks for the damn thing like the first day it came out, and have been a lil disapointed overall. Customizing your entrance is non existent. The punching system has become so slooooowwwww. The press conferences are pretty retarded. There are simply not enuff fighters in the game. Where is Mayorga? How bout Cotto? Or Floyd? Or Tito? I mean come on! I honestly feel the best of the series so far was Fight Night Round 2. The game had a lot of great fighters, even had their autographs. When I bought Round 3 I was expecting it to have everything Round 2 had and more. I mean it's still fun, and the graphics are pretty good for Xbox, but the career mode and the game as a whole is fuked up as far as I'm concerned.

Like the others have said, they fuked up career mode and the roster of fighters is pretty poor. And the whole gameplay just seems so damn slow. It's still fun and all, but FNR2 was much better.

its true. the gameplay is amazing but the career mode is disappointing. boring weigh ins and rivals. it costs loads for the gear. they dont have as much fighters, you cant customise the entrance like before, and you cant change weight when you like.
