I never thought DLH/Mayweather was nearly as close as most people. Floyd controlled the fight for the most part, and DLH really couldn't do anything of substance. He got Floyd on the ropes and shoe-shinned him with some quick slapping punches (most of which didn't land), and Jim Lampley and the crowd would go nuts and people thought he was scoring with real punches... he wasn't.

From the muscle work Floyds purportedly doing, my guess is he would be following the Marquez IV blueprint.
He's already bigger at the weight and naturally faster as a counter puncher than marquez so I can see him willing to let manny punch, tie him up and muscle him around the ring and settle him down. Then I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to work defensively on counter punching but when manny steps out, I'd look for floyd to follow him out try to land the Marquez fight hand that dropped Manny twice and take his confidence early. If a puzzles been solved for you, you could look to do it better... even if it only means doing it faster.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

I really doubt that would happen. Floyd tried to do just that with Maidana and got into some trouble and so on the second fight, he went into his usual defensive shell again and easily beat him. I bet that's what he will try to do again.
At least that shows that Floyd does have a KO power. I've always thought his power is greatly underrated...

I don't see him going toe to toe because that would be stupid with Pac's punch power and combo speed, but I do think he will sit down on his shots alot more in this fight to try and prove a point by putting some hurt on Pacquiao.
TBH the more I study the two guys the more I see either guy winning this fight but I lean towards Floyd's skill and IQ to punish pac for things he usually gets away with and taking a UD.
