I just dont see this fight happening as much as I want it to. GGG still has business at 160 and Froch has been very inactive. Would he want to jump straight into this fight if it could be made? I think Froch has a good chance of winning if it happens. But something just tells me it wont.

How much does Froch have left physically and mentally? Personally I don't think he really wants to fight anymore and was hoping for that one cash cow in Vegas that left via the hands of Fonfara. The chance of being laid out like a carpet in his final fight in Vegas is most likely not very appealing at this stage in his career. Oh his right hand could make the difference early in the fight but this looks all wrong for a guy in Carls position.

For the Kazak, should he beat Carl he will be accused of beating up a worn out x-champion for name rec by his skeptics. There is nothing left at 160 as its pretty obvious that the Wbc is not going to enforce its own rules so he might as well move on. If I were him I'd test the waters and then call out Ward

Wasn't Froch 26 or 27 when he turned pro? He might have been a little younger but I know he didn't turn pro till pretty late which means he hasn't had as much mileage as some 38 year olds, he's been in a fair few wars but it's not like he's been in them wars since he was 18 or 19 years old.
