I don't think he will make a come-back personnally, he was a great fighter in his time, and I think if he made a come-back it would tarnish him, and he cares to much about his ego and what people think of him to come-back, plus he's got the most annoying accent and lisp!

He was just announced bankcrupt a few months ago, sounds like he's desperate for money like Tyson which is sad really.
He is 39 years old (i think) and i don't want him to come back, he might get hurt.

Well he is bankrupt now so it's always a possibility. Eubank is probably my all time favourite fighter, frustrating as hell sometimes but his style was just unique.

I watched a rerun of Benn Eubank 1 earlier in the week and I think at his best he was the greatest suppermiddle Britain has ever produced.

It would be a shame if he did come back and get hurt, but if he got himself in shape I reckon he could still make a few quid.

Maybe they could pursuade Nigel Benn to step into the ring with him one more time. I'd rather watch that then Hopins Tarver!
cc bilbo, agreed with evrything apart from the last line. i hope they both stay retired. There were great but they've had their day.

It's funny to hear you UK guys discussing this, just shows everyone is sentimental and a bit stubborn about their own fighters.. Saying he could come back. Are you kidding? He couldnt beat anyone.. His last fights were 3 losses in 97 and 98, and he had some knee among other health problems then anyways.. This is far worse than anyone saying Tyson should keep fighting, or Jones, or anyone. OBviously it wasn't a serious statement. Maybe he'll fight as a joke against a bum somewhere.

I agree with the post except the bit where you generalize UK fans to their fighters...
I personally wouldn't want Chris to come back

Wasnt generalizing really, it was jsut based on what people already were posting.. Someone said he could "outfox a few world class opponents" or something.

Why do these fighters do this and possibly ruin any legacy they have left!

P4Pking, I'm british and don't want him to make a come-back, he'd just make a fool of himself IMO, The Game, 100% agree!

'I still did not get the respect and and acceptance of what i have craved my whole life.'

    Chris Eubank

At the end of his boxing career

In order to give you their lasting respect, the public need to see that you can stay the course. I had showed my grit through thick and thin, when times were good and bad.
That Eubank was always strutting when he was winning, let's see what he is made out of now. How did he lose? Like a man? With diginity? Yes. Then he is the complete package.

    Chris Eubank

Come on, Eubank v Jones would just be a posedown! It would be a battle of the poses!

Eubank/Jones Jr on ITV would be more of an occasion than a fight. And Eubank definately has the power to KO anybody!

Not least because Eubank has not had a fight for 7/8 years, and he has not won at anything resembling his peak for 12 years or so.

And if you call Hearns comeback a 'success', I have some prime land in Chernobyl you may be intrested in...

And Johnny Marr stated Sugar Ray Leonard wants the winner of that
more chance of a smiths reunion than a jones v eubank fight
