Yeah I think any top level guy is a suspect, but to me there's no way he isn't using something.

Might even be "legal" testosterone replacement therapy, but there's definitely something there.

And I'm a big fan of Wlad and someone who ranks him higher on the ATG HW's list than most people do.

Never seen him stick a needle in his ass, never saw receipts, never even heard 2nd hand info of someone knowing something. But it's something I would bet every cent I have on.

In this life there are things we won't have all the answers to and we have to take a side based on logic and reasoning, and I'm taking the side that says Wlad is using PEDs.

    No evidence, just common sense.

Now if you can have a nutritionist, experienced body builder, ect explain how a man can maintain so much muscle mass while doing so much cardiovascular training - at 40 years old, no less - then maybe I'll change my opinion.

I just subscribe to the general rule that when something in this life seems too good to be true, there's probably something behind it.

    #1 He's 39 you're talking like he's 85

#2 He's always been in great shape and he stays in great shape between fights (unlike the large majority of heavyweights) which is probably why he's been so successful for so long.

#3 As for him being better at 39 than when he was in his 20's, well he's had time to adjust his style, get used to it, and perfect it. Let's not forget his style has changed tremendously from Sdunek to Tommy Brooks to Freddie Roach to Manny Steward and it took a long time with Manny to get everything straightened out.

#4 Look at the competition he fought in his 20's vs now. Back then Wlad was getting used to his style while fighting very experienced boxers NOW Wlad has his style down to a science and he's fighting less proven boxers as the older boxers have retired.

But I'm sure you're right, I'm sooooooo certain that your "hunch" is correct

I'm not talking about his style or boxing ability whatsoever, I'm talking purely physical. He is more jacked, more cut, and with a lower body fat % at 40 than he had in his 20s. Now that might not be strange for a guy who was a slob in 20s and decided to get into weight lifting and training in his 30s, but for a professional athlete who has been training his whole life and has since gone through an extra 13 years of training camps and fights, that's highly abnormal.

It's a scientific fact that when you hit around 30, your testosterone levels begin to drop at a steady rate. Hard physical training, constantly breaking the body down, that speeds it up - that's why a lot of athletes were getting hooked up with TRT.

So it's a lot more than a wild "hunch" - Wlad's body defies science. The odds that he isn't taking anything or hasn't taken anything are astronomically low.

I'd love for someone to point me to a boxer from before the "steroid era" who looked physically better at 40 than he did in his 20s. It just didn't happen.

And I'm not picking on Wlad or chalking his success up to steroids either: I'm sure the majority of the guys he iced were probably using something too. It's a dirty sport.

    Pre-Manny Steward

    Brock weigh in 241

2013 vs Pianeta he was 249 vs Povetkin 241

    Pulev weigh in 245

    Bryant Jennings weigh in 241

I mean I see relatively no changes that would imply steroid use

It's all about how much longer he wants to fight; Fury has somewhere between slim to none chances to beat him and I hardly see Wilder being ready for his piston-like repeating jab. IF he makes 3-4 more fights and call it a day, I say he stays unbeaten. Otherwise, there might be a chance where we'd see him getting beaten.

I've definitely noticed an increase in mass and definition.

But even if he wasn't - let's say he hasn't changed a bit since 2003... that doesn't happen either! You don't look as good at 40 as you do at 28! You don't have the same muscle mass, tone, and definition. He should be getting worse, not staying the same.

Again, I'd ask what boxer before the era of steroids looked the same at 40 as he did in his 20s? It's unheard of.

    So you factor in

    A) the abnormality of a guy looking like that at 40
    B) the fact that boxing drug tests have proven to be useless in catching cheaters
    C) the fact that his brother has experience with steroids

If you guys are betting men, what would you put your money on?
