IBF Welterweight champion Zab "Super" Judah, 34-3 (25 KOs), did little to change perception of his attitude today as he failed to show for a conference to hype his April 8 "Sworn Enemies" showdown against pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas and televised live on HBO Pay-Per-View.

Advertised as featuring the three-time champion giving his analysis of his stunning title-losing defeat at the hands of Carlos Baldomir last January, as well as his plans for pulling an upset over "Pretty Boy" Mayweather, what the media got instead was Judah’s father/trainer Yoel and promoter Don King doing their best to sell the idea that an upset is in the making and that Judah’s intense focus is what prevented him from helping out in the event promotion.

"We’ve got our hands full with Floyd Mayweather. He’s considered the best pound for pound, but we’re going to rise to the occasion and knock him out," vowed King. The elder Judah agreed "We ready. We up. We able. We’re going in there with full confidence. Mayweather’s got a big mouth and we will shut it. Zab gets up for the big fights and he’s up for Mayweather because he’s got a big mouth. This is the fight where we show what we do best and Floyd, you can’t stop it."

King also made a bold prediction given the smooth boxing styles of both competitors. "You’ve got a real fight coming that night and it’ll be another victory for me over Bob Arum. This will win fight of the year honors. I will be very surprised if it doesn’t. Zab is even more focused than he was against (Corey) Spinks. Floyd Mayweather is going to be surprised when he is literally destroyed."
