Seriously, that ref shouldn't be put in charge of anything more challenging than a stay busy fight between a title prospect and a tomato can in future. He was sending out warnings to both fighters from the first minute.

Then there was the weird little 8 count he gave Daws for complaining about a low blow, despite going nowhere near the canvas and not looking as though he was in trouble. Next in the same round he deducted a point from Nieto for the low blow.

The warnings continued throughout, and then the stoppage was a farce. Yes the doctor said Nieto couldn't continue but it should have gone to the cards. Nieto may have won anyway, but at least it would have been fair. Both of them were finding the heads to be a problem, and it definitely wasn't one way traffic with the head contact.

Absolute horseshit. I'm calling this an ND in the challenge. This is the very incident I outlined in the rules. This should have been ruled officially a NC or TD. I have also not seen such an inept ref in quite some time. Daws has to appeal this decision. Three of us saw it in this thread so you lads are my witness.

Pox off. I was the only person that predicted the upset. I want my 10 PTS.

Cracking fight (for the skill (lack of) level). The ref was beyond useless. We criticise the top Brit/USA refs all the time, because we see them every week, then you see incompetence like that.

Thought Nieto was winning but the headbutt wasn't even an intentional headbutt. Madness.
