Wlad could win the rematch and retire, then what? Perhaps he backs out? I get a kick out of the way Fury gets the shit treatment by all of these Orgs the moment he dethrones their poster boy. The IBF almost strips him of their aluminum pot before he leaves the ring after beating Wlad, and then challenges the WBC to unification to his face and is dismissed and now the WBA runs a tourney that nobody knew about until after Fury won the recognized king of the hill title. They all had to have signed on to the Wlad/Fury rematch clause so they can’t play the I didn’t know card. Yeah they didn’t know Fury would win fairly easily and he just does not fit with the in crowd. Too much character and he does not sugar coat. By rights Fury should be carrying on with Wlad while the rest including the other two title holders sort it out. All the players in this tourney should be fighting for the opportunity to face Fury regardless of his fight with Wlad. He’s the man that beat the man. His rematch should not be a party of this tourney. The way these Orgs cherry pick is another pet peeve of mine.
Fury will unify the titles anyway. It gives him something to do.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
