That was classic. Don't know whether it was Rahman himself recalling the shot, or whether I read the description later in Sports Illustrated.... but either way, it was like a punch with it's own sonic boom. Rahman went down and laid flat on his back with his arms outstretched in the middle of the ring. It was so definitive it seems like he could've still been there when the lights were turned down and the janitors were sweeping the arena. Sweet too..... given the abuse Lewis had suffered from Rahman on national TV at Roy Firestone's sports talk show.
It would have been a war, Lewis would have wilted if he faced the Bowe that fought Holyfield. Would not have gone 8 in my estimation. Certainly would end in a KO for Bowe at some stage of the game. Bowe was built for the professional league, Lewis was a good fighter than moulded himself into a great champion over time!
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Id give Rahman and McCall a change against Bowe. If Golota can floor Bowe with the 1 - 2 Lewis KOS him inside 2.
No one knew more than Rock Newman & Bowe that they couldn't beat Lennox Lewis
Newman himself said to me in Dallas ' Why risk everything against Lewis when fans will buy Dokes & Fergusson with little to no risk " The ONLY chance Bowe had was right after he beat Evander when he was contracted to fight Lennox. But when he saw what Lennox did to Razor Ruddock his cojones shrunk
