Really? I couldn't see it even coming close. Floyd vs Manny had unprecedented hype, surpassed the numbers anyone thought it might do, and most importantly left a lot of casual fans(who made the fight massive) turned off. That fight did around 5 million buys, Floyds next fight with Berto didn't even do 1, and I don't think Golovkin has done close to 1 in any fight yet. I get that just about any hardcore boxing fan would want to see this fight at all costs, but that wouldn't carry it enough. The only way it would happen is if you are right, and even then I can't see it, Floyd is to old now and was always to small.

If people only paid to see Floyd and his drawing power didn't take a hit from the Pacquiao fight, he would have done more than 500K against Berto, surely? Pacquiao also has topped a million buys a bunch, against Marquez twice, Mosley, Margarito, and Cotto. Nobody else aside from Floyd has even come all that close to those numbers since De La Hoya. Those are the facts, sonny!
