I don't think the Kassi fight was that close at all, I was hoping kassi was going to win as he seems like a really interesting guy but I thought that breazeale was a comfortable winner there.. He had a good performance v the cuban fellow who was undfeated at the time but he has since went on to be stopped 3 times in a row :S... He was definently fortunate he cut mansours tongue in half with a punch( I remember him landing a really good one on amir, so there is that at least :S) otherwise he could well have been out of there, he was very nearly ko'd.

I suspect joshua will put him away when mansour just fell a little bit short but to be fair I think that says more about joshua than breazeale, if he blasts him out as we expect then it would be pretty impressive in my opinion.

There is certainly better options out there for joshua to face(maybe even mansour) but they want to get him exposure in america, so a blow out of an undefeated Olympian american with an 88% ko rate will look very good on paper for him.... the truth really isnt important here :S
Oh yeh I think had it a draw but Kassi really put a spotlight on how lumbering and near stone structure slow Breazeale can be. Thought he out hustled and made him look silly with shifting in spots, his inside game is near void but literally a coin flip on cards. Its a very good 'big picture' match up for Joshua..U.S Olympian, undefeated and one with much exposure in lead up.. for Joshua really and if anything Breazeale will be dangerous with the lumber via upperhooks. Blind spots are your friend.

Brezeale has arguably had stiffer competition then Joshua and he's got that Cooney body type. He's not ripped. I doubt he folds like Martin did. I'm a little surprised they made this fight. I was thinking it was going to be Chisora or something.

In a round about way it's a little make up payday for Breazele after Wlad losing and Fury stripped saw his fight with Martin cancelled on short notice. Dominic was dropped like a bad habit with shot at top rank gone. Undoubtedly the ibf will magically propel him from #13 to one of its goofy number one and two "not ranked" slots before the bell sounds for this.

Dominic Breazeale is okay as an opponent for Anthony Joshua at this time.

Let's not forget, Joshua just fought on April 9. Nice to see champions remaining active!

That is what I'm not sure of. If one does the lineal thing it appears Mr. Brezeale would be a Joshua optional and not a mandatory which would then have to be the highest ranked available. But if it starts at Fury for refusing to fight Glazkov who then fought Martin for the vacant title then Joshua's next fight would have to be an optional because there was not even a mandatory to inherit. The Ibf had to know that Fury was contractually obligated to rematch Wlad when viewing the final agreement. If they didn’t then they should have stripped Wlad for fighting Fury instead of Glazkov and fired their front office. I think it’s a ballsy move because Joshua could have fought someone from the nose bleeds for an optional while the Ibf has a string of eliminators.

Wankers wanting ppv money for shite.

No wonder they dropped Fury because he embarrasses the crap they are selling to the public.
