Just out of respect to all those true HW's who campaigned at that weight throughout their careers.... and worked their way up the ranks like everybody else... and got no shortcuts to fight the champions, until their own careers merited a shot at the title... I would say HELL NO.

Unless of course there had only been 51 heavyweights in the history of boxing... and then only grudgingly I would say "yes" to the question.
Which by the way I thought was a joke at first, but maybe it wasn't.

I would feel comfortable placing Haye in the top 150-200 heavyweights ever. If we are talking guys who shoot their mouths off and underperform, then show no shame in making ridiculous excuses for losing, I place him solidly in the top 2-3 p4p ever. Guy is a great hype job because looks the part, has talent, and shoots his mouth off better than most, but rarely backs it up against top competition (if ever).

It's not exactly hard to get in the top 50. I mean I reckon I must get in the top 200

Ali. Frazier.Norton. Dempsey. Tunney. Marciano. Liston. Holyfield. Bowe. Lewis. Holmes. Ezzard Charles. Paterson. Louis. Foreman. W.Klitschko. V.Klitschko. Jack Johnson. Tyson

These heavies are absolute musts. But that's still leaves 31 spaces ? So it's gonna be padded out with the likes of David Haye. You could throw Ingmar Johannsen and Max Schemiling, but even that leaves 28 to fill. So Haye easily get's in.
