You are likely correct in that the most likely scenario has GGG scoring a devastating knockout. Don't see this playing out like Norris-Taylor for the following reasons:
1. Meldrick was shot and coming off three brutal fights, with two of his previous wins being disputed wars with journeymen fighters. Brook is in his prime and doesn't have the damage that Taykor had, not even close.
2. Norris was a horrible match up because he hit MUCH harder and was just as fast as Meldrick. GGG is unquestionably the puncher in this one, but I see Brook having the advantage in both hand and foot speed.
3. Taylor was a great fighter and boxer, but was too tough for his own good, often abandoning his boxing/speed advantage to engage in an all out war. He was a philly fighter to his core, which was great for the fans but detrimental for his career. Brook will have a solid game plan and stick to it.
I think GGG's pressure and punch will eventually break Kell down and result in a stoppage. That being said, I'm not convinced that a GGG win is guaranteed, and I applaud Kell for daring to be great. Before you write this fight off as a farce, ask yourself this: "Is Kell Brook more of an underdog than Napoles was vs Monzon, Leonard was vs Hagler, Duran was vs Hagler, or Basilio was vs Robinson?"
People thought Ray Leonard stood absolutely no chance and was risking his health. I thought Hagler won the fight, but Ray performed much better than anyone thought possible. Napoles lost to Monzon, but it was a great fight and took no luster from Napokes who performed well against one of the top middleweights in history.
when froch fought bute no one gave froch a chance
bute was knocking everyone out and doing it with ease, hardy taking a punch and looking spectacular, much like GGG is
and butes level of opposition was similar to that of GGGs
bute never beat anyone you could consider top class in his division, all a level below
who has GGG beaten that you would call a top class middleweight?
Lemieux? probably his best opponent, Martin Murray? nothing frightening there is there

Interesting. I want Brook to win, and I reckon he will surprise a few people, but I'm not sure he can win. But I saw Brook was quoted as saying that he beats everyone on GGG's record. Do you think Brook beats Martin Murray? I'm not a big fan of Murray's but he is tough, game, and a giant compared to Brook. Just curious.

What if this had been played differently?
Khan vs. GGG...... and Brook vs. Canelo.
Shame, because I think Brook would've had a much better chance of whupping Canelo than he does against GGG..... but we'll never find out. Meanwhile, Khan would've still gotten murdered against GGG, like he did against Canelo. Canelo defintely got the better end of the ''Big Guy/ Little Guy" matchups.
Brook would have lost to every recent fighter GGG has fought.
