I'll be damned if America was ever in that situation and I fled. Maybe I'd send my family away for their safety, but fighting for the only home I've known is what I would be doing.
For starters you are not in Europe. My half brother will be travelling to Germany in a couple of days to see his German family , then he will visit his girlfriend in Belgium and then later he will return to Cyprus. Freedom of movement is something you may take for granted in the United States but you seem quite eager to deny it in Europe. Are you suggesting that criminals never travel between states or countries in anywhere but Europe ? You from the so called imaginary bastion of Democracy are now suggesting that a democratically elected leader is unfit for office because you personally do not agree with her governments internal policies. Do you not see how arrogant that is of you? You are ignoring the fact that this guy was not a refugee and was not given asylum. So obsessed are you with your flimsy argument that you are now ignoring reality and just inventing facts to try and prove a point. It's quite easy for you on your sofa to mouth off about what a hero you would be if you were in a situation you could not possibly imagine yourself to be in. Where has your common sense gone?

I don't think the chap is the thug you are so eager to paint him as. Why are you so obsessed with this idea that people are intimidated by anyone ? Why would I be afraid of anyone? You are a very weird guy if you think somebody pointing out the flaws in an argument on a forum makes them a whack job and that some posters should be afforded special treatment as though they were gangsters, Grow up and chill out its Christmas day ffs.

My uncle lives in Germany he says people are freaking out. Haven't talked to him in depth about it but he's witnessed some of the Muslim rioting. He's not a dumb guy thinking the countries going to implode but people are questioning Merkles decisions

I am sure plenty are. The a+b=c type of thinking that many are using now though does not help things though.

My friend in Belgium is against the open borders policies. He worries about the future of his children. They are valid concerns. Europe has betrayed its taxpaying citizens.

Ideally the world would wake up and put sanctions on America, Britain and Israel.

When 1 specific group is doing these acts, then PERHAPS they deserve a special look when "fleeing" "Syria"....yeah I know "but what of the Jews in WW2" ....they weren't killing anyone and they weren't pushing their views on anyone unlike these "refugees" which are an invading force whether you want to admit it or not!

I never mentioned the Jews. I thought you said Syrians fleeing were all cowards? Make your mind up 'cowards' or 'an invading force' ?. Seeing as you are unable to accept the concept of refugees or asylum and are still insisting a criminal proves your point that a leader elected under the western ideal of democracy is unfit for office because crime should vanish when Democracy is installed, maybe you would like to come and run Europe and then go and fight in Syria being such an expert in these things.

What utter Janner rubbish! My word! How dare you "poppycock" your way into implying Lyle "should make up his mind" or that he is unable to grasp the concept of refugees, etc.

I do not believe Lyle is the confused individual you are making him out to be but rather, I find Lyle's arguments SPOT ON, well-informed, and vigorous. Maybe you would like to visit as I have done twice in 2014 the so-called Syrian refugee camps in Akcakale, Ceylanpinar, Gaziantep, and Hatay, (Turkey), which were filled with 20-something year old young men with iPhones picking fights with security guards and complaining they were only served beef stew and 2-day old bread by the Turks.

2 of the things that those "Syrians" can be are 1. Cowards 2. ISIS/Al Qaeda alligned fighters....or do you not believe that even now?

Are SOME people just trying to get away? Sure, but hidden in those groups are the 2 aforementioned groups. Or have you not seen any evidence of that yet?

Anis Amri was Tunisian not Syrian or a Refugee. He endeavoured to spread fear and division in the west and yet the pair of you rather than defending democracy and refusing to subscribe to such negative rubbish are both attacking Merkel, Europe and the very ideals he was trying to destroy. You are both not even Europeans and yet you are demanding that Europeans become dangerous extremists like Farage and subscribe to your invented version of democracy in which those with the biggest mouths get to silence anyone with a dissenting voice. Totalitarianism by any other name.
