Danny Williams won't lose the weight, if he couldn't for one of the biggest fights in his life against Skelton and Vitali he sure as hell won't do it now.
Shame, cuz i missed the skelton fight....was it good?

He said he was guna get down to the lighter half of 18 stone . Then he said he'd knock Skelton out in 4 rounds .

I dunno I was just beginning to like Danny after the last Skelton fight but yesterday reminded me why I never liked him much.

He didn't quite get a gift against Skelton but he was very very fortunate to get the win, so I think it's disrespectful to go on about knocking Matt out in 4.

Credit to Matt, he's got no skills at all and he's old, bald and ugly but he's a true grafter, back in the gym just days after the Wiliams fight, he's always polite and respectful and you can rely on him to always be in shape for a fight.

Let's be honest the reason the last fight was so good is that Skelton pushed the fight the whole time, Danny would have been happy to do fuck all for 12 rounds like he did against Audrey.

Good Luck Skelly, knock the fat boy out next time

does anyone think that Matt Skelton sounds like Bodger from that tv series 'Bodger and Badger'?

CC Bilbo - Skelton can't box worth a toss, but he can fight a little bit and he knows how to force a fight and not a technical boxing match. This may sound stupid, but he reminds me a little bit of a young Foreman (I am not saying that he has half the skill, power or potential, and I know that he is really old), but the way he bullies his opponents, his casual style etc.

Or maybe it's because I watched the fight after I came back from the pub and was hallucinating greatness where there is none?

    back at ya.

I really like Skelton, he's my fave British fighter after Hatton and Calzaghe. Ok so he isn't a great boxer but he's got more heart and will to win than virtually any other fighter out there. Actually having seen the Rahman Toney and now the Brewster fight I think Skelton could prove a handful for any fighter in the heavyweight division.

If Danny gets a world title shot I don't think he will take it as he's too passive, whereas Skelton will seize any opportunity with both fists. He would give Toney nightmares by forcing him to work too hard for his flabby body to cope. I reckon he would outwork Rahmam too. I honestly could see him beating Rahman or Valuev to claim a world title.

Bryrd and Wlad would probably be beyond him but again I don't think either would find him a walkover. If Danny fought any of the above it would be a routine defense for all of them I think.
