Haye should try to come in lighter than last time, he looked cumbersome and sluggish in the first few rounds of the first fight before his foot exploded

He looked like shit even before the leg went. He was slow, sluggish, his stance was wide and all of his punches had a loop to them. Low hands, leaning over his front foot at times... it was amateurish stuff from Haye to be honest and there's nothing he did to convince me he's an elite heavyweight. He was lucky he wasn't in there with Briggs or Fury because he'd have been properly taken out (same with Wilder and AJ) if Bellew was dangerous, Haye would have left the ring on a stretcher with those slow leaping attacks and wide shots.

Well looks like the rematch is set for December 17.
I didn't realize it was a Sunday, PPV was expected, I wouldn't pay for if the card started at 7pm on a Saturday evening...what time on a Sunday?
I gotta be honest, a 3pm card on a Sunday afternoon would be right up my street....I wouldn't be happy about PPV but boxing on a Sunday afternoon sounds fucking perfect

Unfortunately a marketable fight these days, will make some money if they're confident of doing the O2. As much as I have followed Haye and like him, it is clearly outrageous that the winner of this fight could get a alphabet HW title shot, shows how HW standards have declined, which I guess is why they are both after it. What happened to warm ups with journeymen after a loss? Oh I forgot Bellend IS a journeyman. Now Vlad has gone (and he wasn't that great) There are probably less than 5 top line heavyweights out there, compared to 60's or 70's standards they are all pretty mediocre, with Joshua and Wilder the only unbeaten and untested as yet. If bloody Hearn continues to do well promoting Joshua he will be another Vlad/Vitali and make a fortune.
PS deliberately never mentioned the pikeys
If Bellew wins I think he retires anyway. He is too poor to beat Parker.
Haye would have to retire too but the man has no shame he will try and justify another comeback blaming injury of a god or achilles for his loss instead of admitting that he is just not up to it.
I can't help but think that this fight should be nothing more than a massive flop, Hearn says that they were looking at other options but the fans and everyone that they spoke to were calling for this fight and this is the one that the public wants.
I just can't see it, I can't imagine even the casuals (god I'm sick of using that word when discussing boxing) buying it this time.
No different to Mayweather vs McGregor... it’s just a money fight with no meaning in the division
