anthony small is an interesting character he puts a bit of life into the sport(alot of ppl forget it's entertainment aswell as a sport).he wears the scream mask into the ring and always has something funny to say in the post fight interview,he is a love him or hate him type of guy though.
As far as ricky hatton goes all the things he's said since leaving frank warren he has'nt done.he said he wanted to fight the best americans etc and fight in vegas etc but so far he's fought in sheffield and now boston against ppl 90% of boxing fans had never heard of or dont care about(its hardly as exciting as he made his future fights out to be). i thought he'd be going after mayweather, judah, gatti, corrales, cotto, corley etc after beating kosta(who was regarded as top dog) but he seems to have taken a backwards step, also he has'nt trained as much for his next fight as he has for his other big fights because he did'nt have an opponent and he's benn flying back and forth to america.his situation with his new promoters dont seem as organised as frank warren. all of that said im a massive ricky fan and always have been.

great call syntax error i can definately back you up on Carl Thompson. The guy must be 40 years old now but he still had enough for David Haye a littile while back and Haye is looking like he will be pretty dominant at cruiser at a high level until he unleashes himself at heavy. I have never seen a boring Thompson fight and they always come with him in top physical nick and ready to go to war. Even his losses like in the fight against Ezra Sellars which i rate as one of the best fights i have seen bring serious drama with loads of knockdowns and top heavy handed action. The cats fights have always been highly entertaining and i would personally go for Nigel Benn as the past fighter because i dont think you can better the fellas drama and pure aggression and he bashed quite a few top yanks! As for John Conteh i heard he was highly skilled and having only seen some old domestic fights where he was working at a much higher level than his opponents i couldnt really comment.
