Hatton needs to prove himself at 147(which he no doubt will) but I think that fight needs time for the hype to reach fever pitch. In the meantime, he should the most deserving fighter, the one who has a date,an arena and$6,000,000 waiting: the rugged bad ass Antonio Margarito.

    Very good point.

Selfishly I would love to se Hatton Mayweather tommorow, but I spose good things come to those who wait

I think as long as ODLH beats Mayorga convincingly, which I believe he will, Mayweather ODLH is already at MEGA fight status and would be great to see. So yeah, I'm the only one voting for ODLH

A repeat of Floyd-Zab would be an interesting fight though it would probably be a repeat. Thing is, about this last, with Roger Mayweather in the ring and his hands around Judah's neck - probably didn't materially affect the fight, but sure makes the waters muddy.

Zab's a heck of a fighter, dominated the first couple rounds. Why was he unable to continue that? Was it Floyd's body work that broke him down?

At any rate, nothing real wrong with a rematch though probably not a lot of point to it.

Hatton now. The notion that he should increase his name recognition to make it a bigger fight ... that's an interesting take but seems more about marketing/purse or manipulating the history books than boxing per se.

Hatton has the heart/determination that Judah lacks, and plenty of energy in the ring. Floyd had to adjust to Judah to begin to assert his dominance. Would he have an opportunity to do this against Hatton?

That said, I think Hatton will want a fight or two this side of the Atlantic before encountering his greatest boxing challenge.

Mayweather-Margarito, good; Mayweather-DLH, I have no problem with it; I'd like to see Oscar bring himself back and give it a try. Big fight, good money in it, all the things Hatton supposedly has to wait for just a bit. And no one has proven that DLH is over the hill. That's just speculation based upon probability. I've never been impressed by the ability of statistics to predict the future. Always been impressed by the ability of statistics to describe the past.

PBF - DLH, sure, why not?

Good point about Hatton not fighting anyone at welterweight yet and needing a fight at that weight first. However Haton did beat Kostya Tszyu who to me has been more impressive than Mayweather with similar opponents.

Cotto has not fought at this weight either.

The little monster Maragarito who sparse with and hurts middleweights would hurt Mayweather but honestly he has only fought two real good fighters in Centron and Santos--no one else will step in the ring with him.

Castillo has fought at this weight and derserves a third crack at Mayweather more than any other since truly they are actually one & one.

Therefore, if I was a commisioner over the next big fight night I would have Mayweather fight Castillo; I would force Baldomir to fight Maragarito; and as under cards and prep. I'd have Cotto fight Gatti and Hatton fight either DeMarcus Corley or Zab Judah.

This would be one PPV that I would actually pay a going rediculous price far.

On second thought I may delete Judah, Gatti, and corley and have Hatton fight Cotto.

Amazing! I just voted, and the results are currently 32 votes for Hatton, and 2 for Delahoya.

So of course in the interest of the serious fight fan, presuming DLH beats Mayorga, we'll all get what we don't want. DLH-PBF.

Of course we want this fight, PBF-DLH. Of course we do!

Say, have you heard ... Floyd Sr who taught Floyd Jr actually implanted a fatal weakness into his style, something of which PBF is totally unaware, and so is everyone else in the world except for Floyd Sr?

And Floyd Sr trains DLH? and so in this fight when they meet, Floyd Sr will explain the secret flaw of PBF to DLH, and that will enable DLH to beat him?

Yes, oh, yes, I have it on very good authority. Very intriguing, no?

That's Floyd Sr being a hater because Floyd JR is better, and left SR to be trained by his uncle. Don't believe the hype of the Floyd-Haters.

You guys watch WAAAYY to much Kung-Fu flicks. And if you don't.... you'll love 'em!

And I suppose Floyd Sr. is going to teach Oscar the "Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique."
Because he never taught any of his students that one.

Some say he had the secret technique written on an ancient scroll and was stolen, long ago, by his arch nemisis "Uncle" Roger.

The only logical fight out there is Margarito.

It's the only one that can be made at the moment...Hatton has to actually land a fight in the U.S. & he also has to make gain some momentum within American circles before he tangles with Floyd.

Oscar has to get by Mayorga...& he will.

I don't really care to much about seeing Floyd fight Margarito...it just doesn't thrill me.

I think that Floyd would beat him.

I'll be honest with you...if Floyd fights Hatton the way that he fought Judah last night...he'll be in trouble.

I doubt that he would fight the same game...but if he did...that's all I'm saying.
