I'm guessing Pacdog made those CABs himself, I know I did.

Yeah same, thank God we're at least getting ESPN classic in England now, that shows loads of old boxing although mostly heavyweight. Boxing coverage over here is just piss poor. If I end up rich, I'm sorting it out, it needs to be done, Britian loves its boxing, fighting is in our blood, just go to any city centre on a Friday night and you'll see how much

Anyway, I got sidetracked, where can me and The_One77 get good footage of Pernell?

Mayweather even says that Pernell would "kill" him in his prime. And when you get PBF to admit defeat when he says he could beat his own father easily...then I know Pernell would beat PBF. Sweet Pea got the quickest jab of anyone Floyd's fought and he would change up so many things he'd catch Floyd in between feints and be out feinting Floyd. And Pernell had better defense AND reflexes then Floyd.

Robinson said Armstrong would have beaten him in his prime, it's called a fighter showing respect to his elders. And no offense but you also said Floyd would lose to Sharmba Mitchell, then you said Floyd would lose to Zab Judah, so when it comes to predicting fights with Floyd you ain't too bright

I dont think he said that because he boasted of beaing able to beat sugar ray leonard not ahumble statement. Im sure those are great matchups whitaker leonard mayweather but please dont compare zab Judah to sugar ray or whitaker hes not in the same league .

Whitake would beat Floyd. Like I said, Whitaker had a very fast jab and very awkward angles and he would out feint Floyd. He would do what he did to any other he woulf feint them out of position and Mayweather as defensively sound would fall for some of those feints. And the fact that Whitaker's jab is faster then anything Floyd could throw or reach him with, i'm inclined to believe that Whitaker beats Floyd 9 rounds to 3

Chess match, hard to call since Floyd's handspeed and technique could give Pernell some real problems, but I'd lean towards Pernell by a 7-5 decision with some very close rounds

Yeah, I understand how some of you think Floyd would win, but I just don't see it.
There has NEVER been a more elusive boxer, SweetP was an absolute ghost and his total defensive package would make Floyd's little shoulder roll look amateurish.

Consider that (IMO) P beat JCC (even though they robbed him and called it a draw)
worse than PBF beat Castillo (a fight that maybe should have been a draw) and Castillo is no Chavez.

However coincident, Jose Luis Castillo was JCC sparring partner and was seen in many of his latter fights.

He would not out feint Mayweather..., and his jab is quikc, but not fast at all. No way do his reflexes match Mayweather's... Pernell never fought anybody fast... Put him against early Meldrick Taylor I think he loses. Mayweather is way faster comming in than Whitaker was especially when he was in the 130-135 region in size. Mayweather hardly ever falls for feints, and how he fights if you feint on him you will get countered badly. Nobody has ever had the twitch reflexes possessed by Mayweather who can move his upper body so fast that he can lean back then snap foreward faster than most people including Whitaker could just come foreward.
