manfredo is a decent boxer but cannot match it with the best.

i thought that babyface guy had the most potential on the contender but he talked to much crap.

yeah poom thats the one buddy,i was very impressed with his speed and skill.im sure we will hear of him again one day.

juan de la rosa needs a lot of fine tuning,he was all over the place in his fight.

they only fought 5 rounds in the contender.

it would be a different story if they had fought over 12 rounds.

Calzaghe is way outta Manfredo's league. I wouldn't be surprised if Pemberton took a dive in that fight against Manfredo, I mean Manfredo never even KO'd any of those little guys on the contender, yet he easily KO's Pemberton?

im talking about the fights on the contender, you said babyface was shat, and i said its hard to gauge a fight when its only 5 rounds,if they fought over 12 it would be different.

OH, STOP. PEMBERTON WAS PUNCH DRUNK AND SHOT, GRANTED... BUT HE DIDNT TAKE A DIVE. THE SHIEKA FIGHTS BEAT HIM UP SO BAD THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH ALL THE POOR GUY HAD LEFT. NEVERMIND THE FACT PETER HITS HARDER @ 168 SO LETS NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS

That Charles Brewer fight didn't do Pemberton any good, and neither did his loss to Lacy. I say Manfredo would have a tough time with Kermit Cintron or even Teddy Reid, either of which would most likely KO his ass.

TRULY THAT WAS NOT A GOOD TEST FOR HIM AND THE CONTENDER WAS NOT A GOOD BEROMETER... HE WAS USED TO FIGHTING 12 ROUNDS PRIOR ALL THE OTHER GUYS MAXED @ 6-8 ROUNDERS... TRUTH IS ALL WE CAN DO IS SPECULATE... HE HAS A WORLD CLASS TRAINER IN ROACH THAT COULD TURN HELEN KELLER INTO A BOXER AND HE HAS SPEED AND TALENT... WITH THE RIGHT GAME PLAN HE MAY BE ABLE TO FIGHT ANYONE IN THE DIV. I THINK HE'LL SUPRISE US ALL... WE DONT HAVE MUCH TO BASE IT ON EXCEPT HIM DROPPING ENORMOUS AMOUNTS OF WEIGHT IN THE CONTENDER TO FIGHT SOME OF THOSE GUYS WHICH MADE HIM TIRED AND WEAK AND THEN HAVING TO ADJUST THE 5 ROUNDERS THAT HE HADNT FOUGHT IN YEARS SO REALLY WHAT CAN WE BASE(EVEN A LONG TIME FAN LIKE ME) OUR OPPINIONS ON... THIS WAS HIS FIRST FIGHT WITH ROACH IN HIS CORNER....WAIT....JUST WAIT

Manfredo is such an average talent. I was born in Pawtucket and i don't even like the guy. Don't let the KO of the Sandman fool you. He is third tier at best.
