Wack,I respect more than most on the forum and I agree with what you are saying BUT I just want to see Tony given a shot,that's all. I f he loses, I know I won't hear the end of it but I KNOW, he will put in a good performance and there is no way it will be a Corrales beating because Chico must have had the lowest throwing totals I have ever seen!! Something was up and Castillo won the first,no doubt in my mind! I think as soon as Floyd stepped up to 147,Tony was going to be a factor,Hatton is unproven at WW and even Arum said that fight not worth alot at the moment,Gatti looks washed up to me,he's already beaten Judah and Baldozar?! Oscar seems more interested in Tito and Arum will NEVER allow it! What did De La Hoya call him: A rich/spoilt jew?! I guarantee the $8mill is legit,Arum is shrewd,he knows if Tony gets the exposure,his style will entice the fans and he will make even more money back!

Now they have Hatton jumping to 147 and becoming the 2nd shining star to Mayweather, eventhough THEY FULLY WELL KNOW THAT MARGARITO IS THE ONLY LEGITIMATE WW. They even have Gatti fighting Baldomir for the WBC belt.

But let us not forget that Mayorga, Forrest, Mosely, Spinks, all ignored Margarito. Forrest could be excused because of his injury. Now we have new up and coming WWers conveniently ignoring Margarito. So I say to Judah, Mayweather, and Hatton. Play these shallow boxing fans for all their worth. If you can make a million by fighting Collazo, and Baldomir, then claiming Welterweight Supremacy, so be it.

They have elected George Bush, therefore they are very likely to elect you.

Hard to disagree. I know I'm not the only one who gets tired of hearing a guy who doesn't fight in a crowd pleasing style (not to the casual fan who ultimately makes you rich) say "If it makes dollars it makes sense". What he means is "If I'm 100% sure I can win and it makes dollars, then it makes sense". And I say this under the impression that Floyd will pull a UD on Margarito - so it baffles me even more that he avoids big fights that we want to see and still thinks he deserves the millions. But if you always play it safe, thats how we're gonna remember you. Thats why as great as Roy Jones is (atleast 50% greater than Mayweather?) he'll always be questioned and never regarded as highly as Sugar Ray Robinson.

Margarito may deserve his shot, but he would be better off going against someone who he could land 10 punches on, imo. Margarito is just like a bigger version of Corrales, he fights exactly the same way.. THat's what noone realizes. I agree 100% the fight should happen, but only so people would stop talking about it Margarito wouldn't have nearly as much chance as Hatton, imo.. Just the way they both fight, Tony would be wide open all day, Hatton is the true pressure fighter whose body shots could take MAyweather places he's never been.. Seriously anyone who hasn't watched the entire Corrales fight, do so. Then watch Tony in a few fights, and tell me they aren't similar. I could see a similar outcome if they fought actually, FLoyd would jsut have to be a bit more careful this time.

I'd agree Tony is simliar, actually far less tactical with how he throws his bombs but still simliar, and like Chico he wouldn't be adjusting all that much just coming forward and coming forward again. I don't think he'd break nearly as easy though, which gives him a better shot. I wouldn't be suprised if Mayweather's punches did absolutely no physical damage to Tony, but would keep him at bay for the whole fight. Which is why PBF needs to shed some pounds and stay at 140, cause at 147 he hits about as hard as Malignaggi (and that wasn't the case 7 pounds ago).
