Just to mention,Doug Fischer mentioned Margarito's ankle AND WRIST injuries in his Friday mail bag which would explain Tony not going full pelt in his shots..

I told you when they first mention the ankle. It was a build in excuse. In case he lost or didn't look good. He didn't look good and now it's being used. No surprise there.Originally Posted by El Gamo

. Mayweather is the more skilled of the two , so I’m going with Mayweather in an easy 12 Un Dec victory.

CC Wacko !
Winky OWNED QUART!
was not the LEAST bit impressed with Margarito's performance tonight, Clottey showed he had what it takes to give Toney trouble.
was not particular impressed with Cotto. seems he has alot of flaws technically, and defensively, but he did what he did best and that was BOMB AWAY and once he landed that bomb on the LIVER it was Curtains for Quintana.
Lacy, wow i was disapointed man
COOL CLICK WACKO for always doing what u do best hollaaaaaaaar
I know you love Hopkins and he's a UFC fighter. Of course you don't wanna hear my opinion. It's the truth and that hurts.Originally Posted by wacko3205

Get real....If Tony wanted an excuse,he could have just said the abkle was bad and not taken the fight. Second,Clottey injured his finger during the fight, now after the fight,he supposedly has 2 broken.severly damaged hands?! That's not an excuse is it? Third, anyone who has seen Margarito knows he hits far harder than that, you could tell from the beginning something was wrong and having read Doug's mailbag from LAST fRi,confirms my suspicions.
Afternoon,
After my weekend of First Aid training, building shelters, stretchers and generelly learning how to rescue people stuck on mountains.
Anyhow, saw the Lacy and Wright fihgts on my Sky+, and was entertained by both, seemingly good, competitive (ish) fights.
First off, the Lacy decision was a bit of a robbery, I though Tsypko exposed him enough, especially as the fight went on, and started rocking Lacy back with some good straights, and hooks which shook Lacy up a bit. After the fourth Lacy didn't show too much, only occasionally catching Tsypko, and as it turns out, he does seem to be the one-dimensional fighter that Calzaghe made him appear (sorry JT, but I didn' see much to suggest he warrants another title shot).
As for Wright, he was very impressive, and if he really stepped it up could have stopped Quartey, but seemed to settle for the decision. Quartey threw a lot, and the second knockdown looked very harsh indeed, but he was outclassed and outmatched in Wright.
watched the recording last night . Quartey- Wright was fun , Was a nice surprise, both guys standing in the center putting on an exciting boxing exhibition. Hats off to Ike for climbing up and being competitive. , and props to Winky for putting on a thriller offensive performance. If he fought that way against Taylor he would be champion.Originally Posted by TheBESTP4P

I think you're probably right, though Taylor obviously has way more power than Quartey, and Winky was getting hit with more good shots than he usually does as a result of opening up so much. Though it hasn't been seriously tested though, I suspect Winky has a very good chin.Originally Posted by Lords Gym

You get so emotional when I expose your boy on here. He's a fraud and that's it. You're a hype fan and not a true boxing fan and you definitely don't see things for what they are. Hopkins was always considered dirty and now all of a sudden, they wanna call him clever or crafty after he beat 2 guys that came up 3 or more weight classe to fight him. He made his record of defences fighting bums and even fighting some of them 2 or 3 times. As soon as they put a real fighter in there (JT), the streak was over and he was exposed. Now you're a PBF fan. That figures. He's another fraud that doesn't want no real opponents. Cotto would wup that a**. Knowing Floyd though, I'm not expecting to see that fight.Originally Posted by wacko3205
