Go watch the way United Arsenal and Spurs play especially away from home, they play football, they try to create chances through pace interchanging passing and movement, not like Liverpool who like the big punt up field to the left or right side of the field with there over packed midfield feeding off the scraps, im not saying its not succesful to a degree, but Spurs play much more expansive pleasing to the eye football than Liverpool.

At the end of the day mate, i respect your a Liverpool fan and you do know your shit. Dont get me wrong Liverpool can play some great football and exciting to boot just look at the Champions League Final in 2005 one the most exciting games i have ever seen, but i dont think Rafa's philosophy is anyway similar to Ferguson or Wenger who try and play football in a diifferent way. Liverpool have had there good days with this style of play and are still one of the best teams in europe, but look at Chelski they have been one the most succesful teams in the last 3/4 years and there manager was sacked because the style he adopted even though very succesful on the whole wasnt seen as exciting enough for the so called Fans and chairman alike.

I agree that Man U & Arsenal play great football. Arsenal only recently so though as in my opinion they were always guilty of trying to walk the ball in the net. (And before that they were guilty of having 10 men behind the ball... George Grahma days im talking about)... Which to me equates to bad football ultimately. Not lately though, they really are getting it right.

Tottenham, again, for all their inventive plays, ultimately play bad football. They dont play to thier strenghts.

And to say that Liverpool play long ball is just ignorant. Chelsea are far more liable to play long ball because (rightly) they play accoring to their stregths (Drogba, the fwockin beast!).

Gerrard is the only player at the moment who is in love with the long ball because he is in a world of his own. I love what he has done for us but IMO he isnt a team player.

When we play best, we own the offside trap, we move the ball quickly through midfield and focus on sneeking our fullbakcs into some nice positions. We've always suffered with our width further up the pitch but ive never seen us resort to long ball

Get off your fucking soap box...when I become a fan of anyone I go all out. I've been a fan of the Boston Red Sox since the day I was born and I have watched all their games and knew all their players and I have only just started to make plans to go see them play in Fenway....does that make me not a true Red Sox fan? If that was the fucking case the Sox would have the smallest fan base in the world because Fenway only seats 38,805 people! And yet I cheer for them whether they win the World Series or they don't even make the playoffs, I am a Red Sox fan and no one will ever change that.

As for Liverpool, I don't cheer for United or Chelsea or Everton or anyone else I only cheer for Liverpool and for an American I do believe I know a good deal about the sport and the team so I am not a fair weather fan and I never have been.

You can feel however you want to feel about me being a Liverpool fan and it's not going ot change anything, I watch them on TV, I follow them on this thing called "the internet", and I own 2 Liverpool jerseys.....and maybe I'll take another trip to Europe sometime and when I get to Anfield or the new stadium they are going to build, look for the big drunk American in the Reds jersey and if you have a problem with me we'll fix it but until then....I guess you'll have to fume about my support of the 'Pool all the way over where ever you are.
