Lets sum up this whole thread in one statement: If you ask someone around the world today to name a heavyweight boxer, is Wladimir klitschko ever gonna be their first choice? No. you will get (in order)

1. Ali
2. Tyson
and
3. De la hoya (let me explain this last choice. During my time in prob stat class i did some math and found out that upwards of 16% of the worlds population will have a barely-functional or lower iq level. These are probably the three most publicized boxers of all time. I'm sure if you asked some of the "intellectually challenged" people in america or anywhere else de la hoya would show up quite readily as an answer to this question.)

And if you ask someone to name a make of a car they would probably say Ford or Chevrolet but it doesn't mean they make the best cars!Ali gets shoved down everyones throats every day!ESPN classics should be renamed the Ali network!Ali was the self proclaimed greatest and everyone has bought into this even if they haven't seen one of his fights!Marketing is an amazing thing.I won't even get into comparing Wladimir with Ali because they are very different all around and there is absolutely no way to make a legitimate comparison having fought in different eras.

i remember everyone thought peter was gona ko wlad, the truth is ppl forgot wlad is the youngest gold medaliit of all time at SHW and become world champion at 24, peter is 26 and still has nothing
remember how tyson or prince naseem never were the same fight since they first loss, just like that peter was finish when wlad beat him and peter would have knocked out james toney in 1st round if he was the same fight 1 yr ago. Trust me some ppl never recover from they loss because they obseessed with winning but wlad will knock out peter in rematch because wlad overestimated peter power and basically did just seem to want to win on point than k.o

This is not the amateurs. Peter is not the Nigerian Nightmare. He's Wlad's worst nightmare. Wlad was holding Byrd for gods sake and he is certainly not known for power so you are obviously just a Wlad fan and not a knowledgeable boxing fan. Klitchko fan at least makes me think.

wladimir klitschko power is way to good for peter, this is a fact, klitschko has improved alot since 2001 and in 2001 klitschko destroyed charles shufford, charles shufford played george foreman role in the movie called ali in 2001, at this time charless shufford was recoognised at one of the best HW boxer at the time, but klitschko knock him down in 3 rounds and finally knock him out
And guess what samuel peter fought charless shufford 2 years ago and peter barely beat charless shufford on points by this time charles shufford wasn't even rank in the top hundred and also was a nobody because he had 5 losses just before getting in the ring with peter, charless shufford hasn't lost a fight since peter but is ranked 195

Peter has earned his way by getting better with each fight while Wlad just revived his career by holding so he doesn't get KTFO.
