    Ive been waiting for us to win one game of basketball or handball. I'd prefer that over the football.

    Alright its not going to happen but I can hope.

    I think that Ennis was a real favourite for her event, but it is Mo Farah that really is the star of tonight for me. He kept himself in the right position despite attacks from various sides, and then executed the game plan perfectly. Galen Rupp did exceptionally well for the US too, and this must be the first time in decades that the African nations haven't been on the top two steps of the 10k podium.

    Ben Ainslie in the sailing. Im hoping he wins gold and then nuts the Dane on the podium. The mens Omnium wraps up today.
