And although not a legal KO (the bell saved him, as the ref was counting him out), Dempsey laying Willard out in the first, was grotesque![]()

ALso not a KO, but when Benn almost got hit out of the ring by Mclellan in the 1st round and he took 2 hits i think not defending himself at all , that looked pretty sick
Thats cricket
For me it was Morrison/Mercer. Morrison was out after the first left hook from Mercer and then took another 8+ shots. It is just brutal to watch.

Derrick Jefferson-Maurice Harris was one sick knock out.
Erik Morales knocking out Angel Chacon was pretty good.
definately tommy morrison vs mercer
there were atleast 6 punches landed after the knockout blow before the ref stepped in n morrison was still ducking imaginary punches by the time he came round, not knowing that the fight was over!
Bob Foster v Dick Tiger
Joe Walcott v Ezzard Charles

bob foster and dick tiger?
that was embarassing! In the end it was a gud punch that put tiger on his back after about six misses but it was far from brutal.
If you don't think that punch was brutal, you need to watch again pal!! His head turned about 120 degrees from the force, looked like he had broken his neckOriginally Posted by dickilad90

don't get me wrong it certainly wasn't a sh*t punch or anythin but id say brutal was tyson's stoppage of bruno in their first fight or foreman vs frazier.
Tiger vs' Foster was just one punch.
I did like Foster at light heavyweight though.
The last shot in the Tua Ruiz KO is sickening.
Allan Green vs Jaidon Codrington is brutal too, and quicker.
That was hard to watch Morrison sitting on that stool and still dodgeing punches and trying to move.Originally Posted by dickilad90

the left hook Tommy hit morrison with was pretty brutal
Vicious stuff.
I also like Jack Johnson blasting middleweight Stanley Ketchel with such momentum he pretty much flies over the poor little guys motionless body and then getting up and brushing what are said to be teeth from his glove.
Oh man there are so manySome of the worst ones I have seen were...Hearns Vs Duran...Jones Vs Johnson. ( Though the fall and Roy hitting his head so hard it what made it so bad)..Lennox Lewis Vs Golota...Mercer Vs Morrision..Of course the most vicious I have ever seen was Emile Griffith Vs Benny Peret...I think it was something like 19 unanswered power shots...Even on tape I find myself saying get the F%$& in there ref!!!....
Don't forget Ivan Drago's destruction of Appollo Creed..lol
