I think Calzaghe believes he has not made the money he should of out of the sport. So I think he will carry on, until he can get a couple of huge paydays, which would mean stepping in the ring with a RJJ and/or Hopkins.
it does seem that he has just made a name for himself, lacy was REAL HYPED, he should have waited till green had some hype

This fight is nothing to do with the opponent, the Millennium Stadium will sell out if Joe was fighting me or you, mate.

Sort of, but not really. Lennox Lewis fought Frank Bruno at the Arms Park, the stadium that was knocked down and replaced by the Millennium Stadium.

Well, when I went to see England verses Wales (Rugby Union) at the old Arms Park, you had to dive for cover at half time, as, the wall above the stand seeped human sewage, that dripped down onto the terraces.

The Millennium Stadium is probably with the possible exceptions of the Stade de France and Croke Park, the finest stadium in Great Britain and Europe.

For Rugby/Football yes, about 72,500 if memory serves me correct. They knocked down the Arms Park and rebuilt it. It is on the same site, but is a completely different Stadium, it also has a retractable roof, if needed.

They should hold Hatton Mayweather there then.

That is the one in Japan, nice Stadium, but it only holds about 40,000 people; the Millennium Stadium is a lot better, of course even the Millennium Stadium will not be able to hold a flame to Wembley.... when if it is finished!!!

No, to far for the hatton fans to travel. if that fight ever happened in Britain, it would happen in the Commonwealth Stadium in Manchester.

COME ON JOE!!!! GET A REAL OPPONENT!!! FIGHT SOMEBODY THAT IS UP TO THE CHALLENGE!!!!

If that person is not at 168 then move up and find them. Everybody knows he is the man at 168, why is he bothering to fight people like this. No offense to Green, but he is not there yet.

This is just disappointing. After the Lacy fight I am expecting better things from him.

I would not underestimate Allan Green; he is a force to be reckon with. Believe it or not, Allan Green is a superb fighter; he in many ways parallels Jermaine Taylor. Just because Calzaghe perform superbly against Lacy will not gaurantee similar outcome. Look at Raheem, who performed superbly against morales, but did poorly against Freitas. We may possibly see the passing of the torch in this fight...
Not discrediting you because I only saw the Codrington fight and cant argue with you therefore, but what are you basing this on mrtko? Jus would be interested in checking out these fights to see if he is that great.
I can't say for sure how he would fare against Calzaghe, but for sure Allan is a lot younger, probably more hungrier. He is going to get what is his, and surely we will see more of this guy in the coming years--i bet we will be talking about him like we would about RJJ.

I have only seen several of his fights and have nothing to base his credit worthiness, but he has the youth, speed, power, ambition. On the other hand, Calzaghe is an aging fighter who has seen his fair share of battles. He has injury to his hands; he is probably slowing down--Lacy made him look quick.

Can't wait to see how'll it turn out...
