Super Middleweight also acknowledge as Kessler's Kingdom when Calzaghe has retire
Siaca lost to Byron Mitchell twice and was nothing special, was handed a gift against Mundine which is how he got the title that Kessler took from him and then his first title defense is against the guy his last opponent just beat![]()

When did I mention Lacy? I told everyone to watch Lacy's fight with Donnel Wiggins and Rubin Williams before saying Lacy would beat Joe.

Untill you BEAT Kessler , I don't think you can talk that much crap about him. He is one of the best SMW in the world
Bottom line... We all know Joe isn't going to fight anyone or step foot on American or Denmark soil. He's going to ride his victory over Lacy untill the day he retires. Yes, good job Joe. Great fight. Want to be a pound for pound champ? You're going to have to step up a few more times. Hint... Peter Manfredo Jr and Allen Green isn't a step up

if it isnt lacy, its calzaghe!
if kessler is so good, then why doesnt he take a huge pay cut and go over to wales and just beat calzaghe?? if he's so good he'll win, joe will get a payday and kessler can then go on and make some good money off of beating calzaghe......why doesnt he just do that....
calzaghe needs a fight....sounds simple really....i dont think kessler wants any of that...
Tarver was dropped and went life and death with an old Reggie Johnson and was dropped and beaten up by Eric Harding in their first fight. He also appears to dislike a fast-paced fight. I think Calzaghe handles him and maybe even stops him.
Mundine Siaca wasn't a gift. Mundine is much more talented than Siaca but he was dropped early and fought with no urgency for the rest of the fight. The fight wasn't uncompetitive and I thought it possible that Mundine would get a home town decision.

to be fair we've heard nothing about that since....nothing from the kessler camp in response to that i also presume...
we've no idea what was discussed....im sure kessler would have wanted his slice of the cake too...
not quite the strategy i suggested....
I make you laugh?? You really need to get your fights right Kessler nuthugger dont you before i make you laugh, firstly the bookmakers all over the world had Lacy as the favourite not the US Media or US boxing fan, the bookmakers!!!Originally Posted by jangeorg
Do you know how the bookmmakers come about there pricesThrough the publics $$$$$$$, so generally not just people from the US had there money down for Lacy hence he was the odds on favourite to win the fight, so please come back when you actully talk some sense, or when you were referring to people who new something about boxing did you mean you and your Danish natives whos boxing knowlegde goes about as far as the Danish border!!
Jangeorg, thanks for the sad click by the way, why dont you respond and put up a decent argument, to my last post?? No you would rather give me a little sad click!!!
Whats the point of Kessler responding to his own challengeOriginally Posted by miles
?
Joe as usual just ignored it.
Kessler can't just sit arround waiting for the rest of his career - hoping that calzaghe will suddently change his mind and look Kessler's way. So for now Kessler has just finalized a deal with Tsypko for a june fight.
It's all in Joe's hands. If he want's it he can have it. But for whatever reason Kessler and the WBA-belt is very low on his wishlist.
im sure joe didnt just ignore the kessler camps proposal, we dont know the details....kessler has demands too. he isnt going to fight calzaghe for anything less than he thinks he's worth....Originally Posted by dumdane
like i say we dont know any of the details...
Undefeated, unified and *ahem* longest reigning champ in boxing - I see where you're coming from though, all Calzaghe's done is beat every man in front of him and shown us one of the greatest boxing classes in recent history. I mean, if this is all he's got to give, Joe is a loser and Kessler is clearly the man.Originally Posted by jangeorg
You're right, Kessler is one of the best SMW in the world, and because he's undefeated against world class opponents such as Anthony Mundine, we should completely disregard the champs similarly undefeated record. After all, surely his record must be padded, noone is good as Kessler and come close to HIS acheivements. Kesller is the man!Originally Posted by jangeorg
Yeah For christs sake Joe, all this harping on about being the longest reigining champ, the first unified Super middleweight champ in years and your undefeated record is getting boring. If you really are the best, lets see you take some real fights, go back in time and face Sugar Ray Robinson, maybe then you can fight Kessler, because Kessler wouldve won. You know why??Originally Posted by jangeorg

No we don't know the details, but here is what Calzaghe said about Kessler just the other day:Originally Posted by miles
In other words... IF everything else fails or IF hell freezes over... Calzaghe MAY have to look at Kessler as an option. For now - no way."Mikkel Kessler is a good fighter, he's undefeated and probably a better fighter than Beyer but then again, does Kessler mean that much outside of Denmark? These are the things that have to be looked at. Obviously, come November, if the fights can't be made with Tarver or one of the top middleweights, then maybe we'll go that route."
