As far as last year, I have to say Gatti losing to Floyd. I knew Floyd would win, but not like that. Even when Oscar beat Gatti, Gatti landed some shots that got Oscar's attention. The beat downs as far as punishment were close, but Gatti couldn't do anything against Floyd. Anything!

It might not be the worst. But I enjoyed the Chris Byrd-Wladimir Klitsckho beat down the most.

Byrd got the worst of it.

i would say lacy, but remember-Byrd got his from one of the hardest punchers in the HEAVYWEIGHT division. lacy got his from a middleweight.

I agree, it had to be Byrd. Based on the power of the shots he was taking to the dome, that's the definition of a beatdown.

When you look at the choices you have to realize Lacy and Gatti could have turned the tide in those fights...Byrd just couldn't do ANYTHING to stop Wlad

I definately agree with the majority of people on here that it's either Byrd or Lacy, so I guess it's how everyone defines the perfect azz whooping that determines who you think. What would you say was a worse beatdown, Tua crushing Ruiz or Hopkins torturing Trinidad? Both were brutal, but I'd say Tua's was more vicious, so I'd be more inclined to say Byrd got taken out behind the woodshed the worst here.
