its not premmature for ricky to be calling out mayweather at all. don't judge him on last nights performance.

How would you like me to judge himOriginally Posted by jbirdy
He has no defense or head movement or wuz that just for last nite
I think not Ricky has a lot of heart and determination but lacks in the other important attributes RIGHT NOW!!! No one is writing off Ricky for the rest of his career but he has glaring defecienties in defense head movement and making needed adjustments he is a one trick pony against the Houdini of boxing will be a disaster and you know it
Ok have your fight with Floyd!!!!Humor me on this one What will all you Hatton lovers say when he gets broken up bad?C'mon what will you say
It is premature now just like it was before.I'm not just judging off this fight. I have seen about 12 hatton fights and i still see the same flows. Collazo gave everyone the blueprint. Just keep him in the middle of the ring and throw combos. You'll tag him all day. Then he'll try to muscle you on the ropes. When he does that just hold him like hes holding you and he won't be able to get off. If I saw that then I know floyd did.Like I said hatton is decent but if he don't work on his outside game he'll never even be able to get inside on floyd.Originally Posted by jbirdy

sorry mate but do your homework on hatton. the hatton that faught ray olivera looked awesome and is more than capable of pulling a number on mayweather. last night wasn't anywhere near the best of ricky hatton. he had a bad night and collazo faught probably the best he has so far in his carear. if hatton was on form there would have been a KO. and for the record mayweather had a bad night against judah and didn't look overly impressive either but still gets judged from other performances because people know what he is capable of.
Your kidding about The Floyd comment I hope Judah was winning the 1st 3 rounds but as any GREAT FIGHTER does he made adjustments and dismantled Judah the rest of the way until the infamous cheap shot Floyd showed us why he is the best that night...SO please no comparison in the talent level WATCH THE FIGHT JUDAH IS BETTER THAN COLLAZO EVEN THOUGH I HATE HIS GUTS ITS TRUE!!!!!YOU HATTON FANS ARE SO DELUSIONALOriginally Posted by jbirdy
Olivera! HA didn't he almost get seriously hurt by agustus not to long ago.You can't even compare those two fights for many reasons. Well first judah was the former undisputed champ,Collazo was the wba paper champ(he held this belt while judah was champ.)Second, floyd had a little difficulties in the first 4 rounds but then like the great fighter he is he went on to adapt and ultimately dominate.Hatton went from having difficulties to almost getting knocked out. Keep in mind everyone before this fight would say that judah was way better than collazo. He might be better than he has looked but has a lot more to prove before I say he can beat floyd.Originally Posted by jbirdy

Well I thought Hatton could have KO'd Collazo if he let his hands go when Luis was on the ropes...Ricky looked lazy at times.
Hatton did decent...I didn't think Collazo was THAT good, he impressed me but he did fight Hatton's fight for the most part.
Hatton's punches were also wider than usual.

Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!
He wasn't picked because he thought he could walk through him.Originally Posted by MRMANICK

They did not want Ricky to fight Collazo because they know that that particular style causes problems for Ricky. The southpaws right hook is one that Ricky always get tagged with (Eamon Magee). Billy Graham said that Ricky insisted on the fight because it was a genuine belt at a new level. It was the only decent fight left out there at Welterweight.
The facts are that he is now a two weight world champion who I think should consider going back down to 140 and clearing out the division.
Hatton deserves a shot at a big payday...in my opinion he needs to fight a crowd pleasing fight in the US to really draw out the fans for him.
I just have to say this though....Collazo has one UGLY grill, jesus ever hear of Braces dude??
Have you ever even looked at hattons face? No collazo deserves a big payday.Originally Posted by Lyle

Speaking of just deserts, an immediate rematch for Callazo should be considered.
Gives Hatton a chance to beat him with less doubt attached.
Or gives Callazo the opportunity to turn it around.
Any possibility?
