Is it me or do the new posters seem to know nothing about boxing?

Actually I'm probably the most knowledgeble person on here. I've never been wrong about anything ever, not one prediction wrong and all my opinions are always well thought out, balanced and researched.

It's not just here either, I know more about stuff than anyone I've ever met. Everyone I meet is always wrong and their opinions suck.

I see myself as analagous to Lancelot in that I travel the world, well geeky internet forums at any rate looking for an intellectual (I'm no good with a sword :P) superior.

To date I've not met anyone capable of holding my jockstrap but I will continue my search, hopefull of eventually meeting someone with the same brilliant mind as myself.



Edit. Damn X just got one over on me on the Greatest Robbery thread, guess I've met my match. Typical I've been bested the moment I trumpeted my own trumpet.

Anyway, It's an astute enough observation, but it's every fight that brings a new batch of sh!+-talkers. Granted, I'm no oldtimer myself, as SADDO is concerned, but I lurked long enough and I'm well versed in this sort of thing as a generalization.

When I first joined this site, it was my first boxing site other then boxrec and I thought I knew a lot, needless to say I was cut down almost immediately by some of the more knowledgable members here and now I hope I'm one of those knowledgable members and that's how the process works. Basically, people come here to learn. Naturally, someone who is new is not going to be as knowledgable as he would be if he put in the time some of us do. IMO, this is the most knowledgable boxing board on the internet, and new members help keep it that way by sitting back and learning like I and so many others did. Come up off your soapbox dude because....you haven't shared the abundance of knowledge that you claim to have with us yet. You make some good post and I wonder how you got your CC/SC ratio and then I see some more of your post where you are just ignorant to no end. Hope no new members take this jackass seriously.

by not naming any names i let the age old statement of "if the shoe fits, wear it" speak for itself..and those that got offended must have felt like the topic was posted towards them... so again if you were offended then oh well..that shoe must fit nicely, that is if you were offended...

Agreed completely Sal. Not to boast, but we seem to be better then most forums in terms of knowing how to state an argument without resorting to personal insults. Boxrec has to be the absolute worst at that as some people there seem to have a genuine hatred for other members. Then there is boxingscene but I like that site so I'll cut it some slack. Don't know to much about Eastside and Doghouse.

See i thought I knew a lot about boxing. Within my first 5 posts, Britkid came flying along and in the nicest way possible put me in my place. This forum is definitely full of some of the most knowledgable boxing fans i've ever encountered, one day I hope I'm close to guys like Britkid and the like.

My first day on this forum I filed away a 'note to self' that I should never EVER argue with Britkid concerning boxing.
I respect his boxing knowledge & his considerate way of correcting me if I'm wrong.
Which I've never been.

My only critisism of him is that he keeps my Morrison/Mercer wound fresh by his constant posting of pictures like these...
