R U EVEN A REAL BOXING COACH?!?!?!?!?! CUZ ANY FIGHTER USED TO FIGHTING 12 ROUNDERS HAS TO CHANGE EVEYTHING IN THE RING. AND WHEN I SAID CLASS I WAS TALKING SKILL LEVEL... YOU CAN TRY TO PICK ME APART BUT WILL FAIL... AND YES A MARATHON RUNNER WOULD SUCK AGAINST A BUNCH OF 5 K GUYS CUZ HE DOESNT TRAIN FOR SPEED SMART @$$

I think all the naysayers will be pleasantly surprised when he steps up... Coures I guess we'll have to wait and see...

The Spina fight didnt fall through Spina chickened out and took another fight cuz he got outboxed by the aging subpar brinkly and I think he realized his mouth would damage his padded record
yeah...and the fact that Manfredo is fighting at his natural weight is now discouraging other fighters.....He carried his pop and after the pemberton fight people are seeing him with open eyes now...I think the loss to Mora on the contender turned people off of him at the time....you would think the robbery from their second fight would force a 3rd but Mora wants nothing to do with Manfredo at 168....
Don't think Manfredo is interested in Mora any more... knows Mora isn't gonna do S*** and he also knows that no one argues that he beat Mora last time...

Pretty sure I read an interveiw where he said Mora would be a waste of time for him.

I really like Manfredo but I don't think he is beating Mora at any weight to be honest.

He was completely outclassed in the first fight, and although the second fight was far closer I'm still not sure he won it.

Mora suffered an horrific cut in the first round, a result of a headbutt, clearly seen in slow motion. I was amazed the fight wasn't stopped, and it clearly affected Sergio for the opening few rounds, but he managed to compose himself and fight back like a true warrior come the end.

I've got the fight on dvd and have watched it several times. Sergio really impressed me in that fight. He doesn't have the pop to trouble the best fighters out there, and I think his skin is very susceptible to cuts but I reckon he has the beating of Manfredo if they meet again.

    Mora is very underrated.

if there was a 3rd fight i think it would go peters way....first fight mora clearly won,
2nd fight, peter was robbed..(so was bosante)
3rd fight, peter & roach would be all over the fact that sergio jumps into his combos not jabs into them..
remember he got caught by the shark attack... i think peter would capatalize on that

I would almost bet that you are one of those at home Boxing fans that calls the fight the way they see it....

Boxers are supposed to beable to adapt to any and all situations thrown in front of them...So not doing well when lesser opposition is thrown at them just makes them weak...

Yes, I am a Boxing Coach, Yes I know what I am talking about....

The thing you have to realize is, there are people out there that do know a few more things than you...

For one thing, like the Spina fight that you say Spina chickened out of...

How do you know what deals were made period...there is alot more than just money when it comes to contracts...

There are Venues, Pay per View rights(If any), Advertising rights, Rules for fight.....And lots more that hyped up fans like yourself tend not to think about...

I believe that if the MONEY as you say was really good, Spina would have taken it!! The fact that he didnt just proves the point that it wasnt as good a deal as thought...Not like this is a million dollar fight....

You still havent responded to the fact that he could really test himself and fight Alan Green....Or, is Peter running from a fight like that Sounds like you have been running from that statement since it was made!!! ,,,!,

Its not all about picking you apart, you do that well on your own...

    Good Luck,

    Coach

    PS.

Marathon Runners use 5k races for warm up/training and time testing, thats because they adapt themselves to all types of environment, thats why some marathon runners run their last 5k just as fast as a 5k runner can...

True... OK I'll back down... and yes I am an @ home boxing fan that calls them that way you make a good point...as far as green goes yes i was avoiding that cuz its a tough fight that im sure peter would take but .....oooofff I dont know. But the marathon runners although they may use them to warm up would get toasted by a guy that trains for that particular type of race.
