I've always said here that I think the fight won't happen, and I still have this nagging feeling that it won't, no matter what the Morales camp keep on saying. I've being wrong few times and probably wrong again this time but I just can't help feeling so. If indeed Morales decides to go on with the fight, I think he is ready for retirement, what with all the news about his being involved in his own boxing promotion activities - ready for a new career, perhaps?

He looked smaller before the Raheem press conference when he was very much overweight, if he looked like he barely made 135 for that fight how is he going to make 130 for this fight?

    Totally agree!

Has anyone seen EM recently,I saw an interview on thin Pinoy site and he looked at least 145 pounds, maybe more!! Like Rob De Niro in Raging Bull, when he puts on weight!
Agreed. I myself have a sneaky suspicion that this might be Erik's last big effort & a big retirement plan. Mortified to think that way...but I do.

I love both PAC and Morales, and I picked PAC to win last time out....but I am in no way going to rule out Morales in this rematch. If he can get the preparation just right and come in feeling strong and with the correct mindset then it can be a very competitive fight...

I have my doubts though and to be honest would rather sit on the fence for a while until we get the build up. Im picking noone at this stage...

Morales does look a bit chubby in that photo, but so does Hatton between fights....he isnt going to come into the ring looking like that though!!

I just think Pac is getting better and better and EM is going downhill. His conditioning, his boxing skills etc etc. I don't think he has it in him to go to war with Pac anymore,I mean prime for prime,EM would beat him hands down but that is not the case anymore I couldn't stand seeing my fave boxer getting beaten up again so I hope he is EXTRA motivated for this. PLus he is back with his father so that should help.
Em needs to nail the conditioning and the tactics,GO TO PACS BODY!! That would slow him down and remember,he has lost by stoppage to bodyshots before!EM also needs to wear the Reyes gloves,if he can shake Pac with the pillows.he can hurt with him with the smaller gloves!!

Go to PACS BODY Pacmans body is harder than your head dude thats a stupid thing to do and yeah they should use the smaller gloves coz pacmans punch is sweeter on it better ask your "FAVE BOXER" if its true or not!!!

I was just saying HOW Em could win the next fight. He has stopped PAC in his trakcs on numerous occasions in the first and second fight,so if he wears the smaller gloves,Manny will fell his power more and I think you forgotten when Manny was koed to the body and do you forget so easily that EM beat the crap out of Manny the first time around>?A prime Erik Morales would sweep Manny aside,he is fighting a faded EM,remember that.

fyi erik cannot wear the reyes gloves cos of his brittle hands. he tried training with them for the second fight with pacquiao but decided not to use them for the fight cos he would risk breaking his hands.

But manny didn't kissed the canvass on their first fight even he's suffering from a cut on his eye he's a one eyed fighter on that fight but look he still manages to fight back if manny just used the reyes gloves on that fight i'm sure he knocked down Erick that time already!!

Manny was just a skinny kid when he sufferd that knocked down when he was hit at the body fyi but there's no way now you can do that to him again...
And on their first fight Manny sufferd a bad cut on his eye he's a one eyed fighter but he still manages to fight back and he never kiss the canvass so he's surely one tough fighter!!! And if Manny already used the reyes gloves on their first fight of Moralles i'm sure he knocked Moralles down already!!!
