    He has always been a shy london lad at heart, took him a long time to get up in front of people and do speeches.

    i kno this is a bad example but when ppl read speechs at funerals its hard as there fighting back the tears.
    becks was also fighting the tears.

    he should be praised for everything he's done for football, not just english football. but he has made acadamys out of his own pocket for the future, helped disabled kids live there dreams and been a top role model.

    the world would be a better place with a few more david beckhams
