Floyd will be light on his feet and clever with it..

..but Shane has an awsome knock-out record against some big names.

He's fast sharp and hits hard..

And has wins over De La Hoya.

Wheras Floyd has wins over.......Sharmba mitchell and err Zab judah !

Everything points to a mayweather win.... but i still feel a bit 'jeff lacy' about it all!!

When the wheels come off for Floyd everyone will say "Told you he wasn't all that"

You can be justified for saying Shane can beat Mayweather cuz he outboxed a prime Oscar De La Hoya . But if you say Floyd can beat Shane , how can you justify that ? Mitchel ? Castillo , Brussels ?

Its true - we ain't haters...

But where is the pedigree? sure there are some names at 130..135....

but 147 has been made up of bumped-up 140 fighters.

    Can I remind the people...

(And I am in boxing training)

When your tired, worn out from flurries and jabs,

And you find it difficult to chase someone,

    Thats when your tired,

And have nothing to go on,

Thats when you can get hurt (standing up) or simply knocked to the

    canvas out of sheer tiredness.

Now I have half the experience (no canvas treatment yet)

And thats what will/may happen to Shane.

    THE END

You couldn't justify Hatton beating Kostya before they fought based on his resume, but he won, BECAUSE HE WAS BETTER. Floyd is better than Shane.

    sorry

If Shane had a baseball bat !

Just f*ckin about ! it's possible no doubt, very possible, I would favor Floyd in a strong way, but I would not be shocked if Mosley timed him, Shane do have the skills , I just feel Shane would be a little too slow for PBF.

I love how Floyd fans constantly talk about how "great" he is...even though he has never beaten a GREAT fighter. People, and HBO, especially got on his jock after his dominating performance against Gatti...who was tailor made for Floyd to embarrass. Now don't get me wrong...he is very talented and he definitely can score victories against worthy competition. But the fact remains...he hasn't. So until he does....people need to get off his jock. As for his defense....it certainly is very good. But he has been tagged/stunned by much lesser fighters/punchers than Mosely and De la Hoya. In their primes...I can see either of these two fighters beating Floyd and potentially knocking him out. Right now, I think both Shane and Oscar could still give him a hell of a fight and still have a chance to beat him. They are both stronger, Shane is just as fast, both have great chins, both are smart, and both have been involved in much bigger fights than Floyd ever has been. And to be honest....i give more props for two "old" fighters like Shane and Oscar wanting to fight the current "pond for pound" best. Shows they like the challenge. They have cemented their place as some of the all time greats. Floyd definitely has not. Mayweather needs to step up.

Some good points Zhubin and I certainly agree,Floyd has been caught by lesser guys than Shane and although Shane and Oscar are in no way shape or form all time greats(they are however hall of famers),they would both test Floyd. I have always thought prime Shane(130-135)would beat Floyd,I mean Shane was scary at that weight. I only had the pleasure of seeing some of his fights there recently, until then,I really didn't understand where the Sugar tag came from but now I see clearly!!

I guess we have to wait and see how Shane looks in his first fight at 147 before jumping to conclusions,I don't think we can take that much from the Vargas fight although there were a few psositives like Shanes speed and combo but he'd need ALOT more of that for Floyd! I'd like him to make Floyd come forward where I don't think he is anywhere near as effective and counter Floyd, work the body etc.

I love how Floyd Haters say he has never fought anyone good? Judah, Mitchell, Jose Castillo, Corley, Diego Corrales," what a beating he gave Corrales" Jesus Chavez "tremendous champion " Hernandez, Manfredy who at the time was at the top of his game.

Fair enough Game. I have always thought Shane in his prime was as good as anyone in his weight division. An awesome combination of speed nd power. I have alot of respect for Oscar for having fought the competition that he has. I also am not saying Shane is on top the world after beating Vargas. But both him and Oscar just have knockout punching ability....and they are smart. So the potential is there for either of them getting Floyd.

Lord Gym, I said he has not beaten any GREAT fighters. And in my humble opinion...none of the fighters you mentioned are great fighters. The fact that you even mention Judah is hilarious. And Mitchell?! Castillo and Corrales are both very good fighters who are entertaining...but they are not in the same league as someone like Shane and Oscar.

Oscar avoided Mayweather like the flu when they were both at weight. moving right on past Mayweather to avoid that fight back in the day.. give me a break... And Castillo is a “great” fighter ! As is Corrales who at the time was supposed to be the one to own Mayweather relect back in time baby .. I remember Corrales just beat his wife, and Mayweather bought her front seats for that fight and told her.. "Watch what I do to wife beaters ! " it was great. don't give me that Floyd aint fought nobody B.S it don‘t hold water , If they ever became nobodies It was only after Floyd took their asses to school ! . Your going to see a lot more nobodies in the near future as Mayweather continues his reign of terror. Regards

Do you mean Mayweather is the greatest fighter of this decade. Not that Shane isn't one of the greatest but I would have assumed you would have rated Hopkins, Mayweather, and Oscar over him so that surprised me a bit.

As far as Mosley-Mayweather, I don't know, I think Vargas made Mosley look a bit better than maybe he really is at this stage in his career but its still an interesting fight. Now if they had fought at 135 that would have been interesting cause Mosley, even though he didn't really fight any great 135 pounders, definitely seemed like a monster at that weight. I guess I'd lean towards a Mayweather decision now but Mosley is a dangerous fight for PBF.
