Joe Calzaghe is a great fighter w/ a huge heart and still only 33 ...he would Out-class Taylor in a easy UD

if youd have asked this Question before the Lacy fight you woulda got a differnt answer maybe

Yeah but that was because he injured his hand and was going through a divorce, he just wasn't mentally or physically anywhere near his best.

He was in prime shape for Eubank whereas Chris only had 2 weeks to prepare for the fight,

Words from the great man himself

“The hardest fight so far was the Chris Eubank fight. I'd never been twelve rounds before. To do it in front of a massive crowd, I was so nervous. I knocked him down after about twelve seconds and he got back up. I tried my best to knock him out in the first round but he just looked at me at the end of the round and smiled. I was knackered after about three rounds to be honest but I wanted it so bad. I felt I had nothing left after seven or eight and I managed to hold on to the end. I was aching for weeks after that fight.”

Ah my bad, he did definitely break his hand though and there were some personal problems leading up to the fight. I remember because the commentators spoke about his troubled year in the build up to his fight with Sheika a year or so later.

Jc is technically better, Quicker and taller than taylor. So id go for Jc, it could be close tho cuz taylor has heart.

I like both fighters and would love to see this fight, I still feel Taylor should have beaten Winky,
if he'd been more aggressive and not kept going back to the ropes I felt he would have stoped Winky.
If he backed up on the ropes like that against JC, I recon Joe could hurt him and eaisly outbox him.
but if he stays in the middle of the ring I'd give him a good chance, maybe a warm up fight first at super middle would be a good idea 4 him first

Its funny when you think about the time span in between his 2 big fights, you just made me realize that.
