Joe Calzaghe is a great fighter w/ a huge heart and still only 33 ...he would Out-class Taylor in a easy UD

i dont think so he pounded eubank. eubank was down in 1st and had to take a count in round 9 or 8 calzaghe was never wobbled or anything
i thought robin reid would of been hes toughest fight because that was sd
Yeah but that was because he injured his hand and was going through a divorce, he just wasn't mentally or physically anywhere near his best.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

I was knackered after about three rounds to be honest but I wanted it so bad. I felt I had nothing left after seven or eight and I managed to hold on to the end. I was aching for weeks after that fight.”

Ah my bad, he did definitely break his hand though and there were some personal problems leading up to the fight. I remember because the commentators spoke about his troubled year in the build up to his fight with Sheika a year or so later.Originally Posted by skel1983
Jc is technically better, Quicker and taller than taylor. So id go for Jc, it could be close tho cuz taylor has heart.![]()
I like both fighters and would love to see this fight, I still feel Taylor should have beaten Winky,
if he'd been more aggressive and not kept going back to the ropes I felt he would have stoped Winky.
If he backed up on the ropes like that against JC, I recon Joe could hurt him and eaisly outbox him.
but if he stays in the middle of the ring I'd give him a good chance, maybe a warm up fight first at super middle would be a good idea 4 him first
Its funny when you think about the time span in between his 2 big fights, you just made me realize that.Originally Posted by Kevil
