How can something not be a planet? I mean....it seems pretty cut and dry that there is a planet there. Astronomers can go to hell, Pluto is a planet.

I dunno science usally takes years of research only to end up proving the bible right in the first place, e.g Big bang proved universe did indeed have a beginning, contrary to scientific belief at that time, the entire human race is indeed descended from one woman, again scientists were suprised when mitochondrial dna evidence confirmed that.

Another 100 years or so and they will finally accept that man didn't actually come from monkeys after all and we will all be right back where we started again.

Yeah, cause we know how the bible always proves science wrong. Oh wait, didn't the bible say the earth was 6,000 years old? That's not correct is it?

Answer: of course not. THe people who wrote that crap were dumber than we are today, and that in itself is amazing.

Ok, where in the bible does it say the earth is 6000 years old? Find me the passage, it aint there bud.

By the way the bible also says in Isiah that the earth is 'round', not bad for being over 2000 years old. It took science another 1000 odd years to catch up with that one.

In the land of looney creationists, the earth is about 6000 years old because if "God" created man and woman at about the same time that he created the earth, then the earth would only be thousands of years old. Thats where the number comes from. But there's no real point in arguing scientific merit with any religion. Its mostly just for jokes.

And if the bible actually did beat reality to the whole "round earth" theory, then its on its way to being redeemed as a true book of science.

(minus the wacky magic, people turning to salt, people living way beyond geriatric, having a god who creates animals, then needs them sacrificed to him. god constantly wiping out livestock, and constatly killing people, and throwing out famine and locusts, and people rising from the dead...)

If anyone ever decides to take these stories literally, just think of Noah. That guy was a geriatric with no zooology skills, but somehow managed to capture giraffs, tigers, gorillas, ant eaters, pythons, koalas, coyotes, wolves....etc, and put all these animals on a 400 foot boat. (40 days and 40 nights of scooping up animal shit)
